"What— what do you see?"
"I see," Eddie says, measured, careful, "someone who looks like he wanted somebody to see him like that."
Buck's whole body goes hot.
"And I'm trying to decide," Eddie continues, slower now, his breath heavier, "whether I'm allowed to be that somebody."
The hand on Buck's thigh has migrated upward. He notices it three seconds after it happens, his palm now resting flat against his own stomach where his shirt has rucked up, fingers splayed across the skin. The touch of his own hand on his own body in this context is sending a current up his spine that he is, evidently, helpless to stop.
"Eddie." Buck's voice cracks. "Are you— are you jerking off to my photo?"
The pause is brief but loaded, and when Eddie answers it’s barely recognizable, every word landing somewhere in the south of Buck's body with a measurable physical impact.
"You send me a picture like that, Buck. What am I supposed to do?"

Eddie froze mid-sip, beer bottle hovering near his lips. He lowered it slowly, blinking at Buck like he’d just suggested they rob a bank. "What?”
Buck shrugged, feigning nonchalance even as his pulse kicked up. "I mean, we already trust each other, right? And it’s not like we’d have to go all the way or whatever–just, you know. Whatever takes the edge off for you." He wiggled his eyebrows. "Think of it as a favor between friends." |...the one where Eddie likes being in control and Buck just wants to do whatever Eddie wants...

Raising his eyes to the rest of the team, Eddie is surprised to find them all staring at him, jaws dropped in disbelief.
So much for warm support.
“What?” Hen finally asks, genuine confusion stamping her face.
“I'm bi,” he says again, more confident… or something like it. “I've been doing some soul searching since Nashville and…” he nods to himself, a shy smile stamping his face as he looks up to his team, “I guess I’m finally ready to share this with you guys.”
They, however, do not share in his whimsy.
“You're joking.” Ravi deadpans.
Or: Eddie comes out wrong—but luckily the rest of the 118 is there to drop kick him out of the closet.
