“You don’t have to.” Soobin reminded. “You don’t owe me this.”
Taehyun let his fingers play with the button of Soobin’s shirt for a moment, eyes downcast and lashes shielding his gaze. His fingers hovered near Soobin’s collarbone, briefly tracing the warm line of it before sliding away.
Soobin stayed still, aside from the way his breath caught a little. Held and then released as soft as butterfly wings against Taehyun’s arm. Taehyun tugged once more on the collar of his shirt, and then went still.
“I want this.” he dared to affirm, quiet and careful. “You should know this about me.”
Soobin didn’t nod, but his eyes flitted back and forth between Taehyun’s, still searching, still checking that this was allowed- that this was okay. It was evident from the way his chest rose and fell with a careful slowness, like he was measuring his breaths, that he was understanding the price that came with Taehyun’s vulnerability.

Summary
Beomgyu, a spoiled guitarist is forced out of the family home by his father and into the small town of 'Julian'. There, he is instructed to create a garden in the backyard to teach him a lesson in hard work to cure his entitled manner. His next-door neighbor, Kai, notices him through the shared backyard fence. Green-fingered, cheerful and slightly puzzling- Kai only keeps giggling at Beomgyu's failed attempts.
But while Beomgyu struggles with his conflicted feelings over Kai and the weeds in both his yard and mind-- is his friendly do-good neighbor really all he appears to be?
