He's in a shit ton of pain, his leg is in constant agony, along with his chest and oh look at that 2 days after coming home he goes to the hospital and he's given some pretty good pain killers. That stop the memories and anxiety that have been brought up after the kidnapping...
Surely, that won't cause problems will they?

“Aren’t you just so lucky to have a boyfriend that makes breakfast for you every morning?” Buck teased, smirking at Eddie.
“Won’t have a boyfriend for much longer,” Eddie replied. He dropped another kiss on Buck’s cheek before backing away. “See you tonight, have a good day!”
And then he was gone.
Buck stood frozen in the middle of the kitchen, his hand still hovering mid-air where he’d had it extended towards Eddie.
The rest of the room continued to exist–the fridge still hummed, the clock still ticked on the wall, the coffee pot still hissed–but Buck couldn’t really hear anything over the blood roaring in his ears.
What did Eddie say?
OR: Buck spends the entire day thinking Eddie is going to break up with him. Eddie asks Buck to marry him instead

The fucking problem is— They drugged Buck. With ketamine. Over and over and over again. And Buck stopped cold turkey. According to the doctors’ guesses, it’s been a little more than twenty four hours since Buck’s final dose, and Eddie is painfully aware of what’s going to come soon. Buck will be going through literal hell, and Eddie has a front row ticket to watch it happen and not be able to do anything to help him.
