Summary
Kili feels strangely driven to the Sun, whereas other, more ‘popular’ celestial entities like the Moon and the Stars, leave him indifferent and even a little scared. He doesn’t want to be infallible and he doesn’t want to be trapped in the sky for all eternity. Instead, he bathes in the light of the Sun and lets himself believe that warmth he feels is just as real as the comforting touch of the rays on his skin. That is, until a stranger shows him what real warmth is.
