Is it Anthony Starr or do I just want to see big, strong men babble and cry? Wasn’t expecting Soldier Boy to play a prominent role in this, but someone out there daydreams about being railed by Jensen Ackles. The characterization is top-class - everyone’s an asshole because it’s The Boys, and I’m thrilled that even the protagonist has their flaws. You can see how hard the author works by looking at the detail in which they flesh out each moment and every emotion. I greatly enjoy reading this and look forward to any additional chapters :)

I’ve got to reread this as I’ve just found and finished this piece. I want to scour over any details I may have overlooked. Overall, I’m glad this work was finished and it met the sweet spot between slow burn(?) and smut that fueled me as I went through each deliciously detailed chapter. I think the character dynamic’s were great, and for a y/n/original character, the protagonist is actually likeable and a sympathetic figure to imagine yourself in(?). This was really good, and I can’t wait to reread this!

It’s really early in the morning now, but I binged this in the early hours of the day AND LOVED IT! I loved how individual strings - pieces of dialogue that repeated over and over here and there across the plot - tied together in the end. It wasn’t a conventional love story by any means, but as far as divorces go, this is pretty good.
