When Derek wakes up in a strange hospital with sketchy doctors after he believed he was dead, he only has one thought on his mind: Avery.
Now, the man of logic has to find a way to escape and track down the boy he took time to save while he teetered on insanity...even if he has to do it with a rather annoying commentary in his head.It's been a year since Avery lost Derek on New Years Day, and the sophomore has seen better days. His mourning of the man who saved his life knows no bounds (or end, apparently), as he tries to navigate college with the aching loneliness in his gut; blissfully unaware of the knight who is walking through hell just to try and get him back.
In other words: fix it fic because I refuse to believe the events of DAWTDE are real.
