Summary
Spoilers for Dark Urge. Takes place approximately 10 years before the events in Baldur's Gate 3.
In the darkness of the blood they share, two brothers try to build a bond strong enough to escape its influence.
Omdura has closed himself off emotionally. Condemned to death by drow society for flouting Lolth and living his true self as a man, he found solace with the Seldarine before losing everything to the curse of his heritage. They have since learned to live alongside their Urge, but it is a life lived for survival’s sake and little more. He learns of a half-brother who has refused to give in to his Urge, and at his father's behest is sent to break him.
Kieran is a paladin of Lathander held captive in the former home of his faith, refusing to break his oath and give in to the dark priests that have overtaken the temple. He has lived under their thumb for years without knowing why; tortured and deprived of affection, freedom, and even the sun, he is broken and prays only for his ordeal to end. When Omdura arrives, he wonders if their arrival means death, hope, or both.
Third-person POV. Dark Urge - Omdura (He/They) & Kieran (He/Him). Hurt/Comfort. Contains depictions of torture and violence.
