Perhaps Seokjin suspected the existence of this indefinable and fledgling thing that had taken residence in Jeongguk's heart. He'd thought that Yoongi's absence would have made some dent on its growth; all evidence seemed to point to the contrary, but this trip to the airport had been a test of sorts, a way to see if all was as it was when Yoongi bid them goodbye all those months ago.

Namjoon had expected Yoongi to take the spanking with quiet resolve, silently fuming until it's over. But Yoongi bursts out into sobs on the very next slap. His hands start to scramble against Namjoons leg, until he’s wrapped both arms around it, tightly holding on as his scent dives quickly into distress.
