Summary
Bernie Wolfe arrives at Holby Community School to cover history teaching for one term. Serena Campbell has been Head of Music for as long as many members of staff can remember. If, when they first met on the playground one chilly January morning, someone had told them that by the end of the term they would be the best of friends they might have been a little surprised. If someone had told them that by the end of the school year Bernie would be an integral member of Serena’s department they certainly would. And if someone had told them that almost a year later they would wake up in bed together? Well, then they’d probably have called you mad. But music has a way of drawing people together – even if there is a series of imperfect and interrupted cadences along the way.

Summary
In her defense, Bernie hadn't actually said that they shouldn't ever do this again. Her exact words had been 'keep it confined to theatre' and Serena's always been very good at following directions.
Set directly after S18E48 "Brave New World"
(edit: second chapter has now been added, hence the rating change)

This is the sequel to "Let Your Arms Become Propellers." It's set several months after the end of Season 3. Title is from the pretty gay Emily Dickinson poem "Wild nights—Wild nights!"
