Summary
There seemed to be one thing in life Dazai desired. Despite his status in the Port Mafia or his great abilities, all he put effort towards was his suicide attempts. He was deranged, crazy, even. He would drone on and on about different methods of suicide, what he had tried, levels of pain, everything. He had seemed like any other weird person in the mafia, so Oda shrugged him off as being a little weird.
However, the reality of the situation struck him when Dazai showed up yet again on his front porch, albeit under different circumstances.

So Chuuya was now pacing the floor, counting the light fixtures in an attempt to get his mind off the current situation. For all he knew, Dazai was drowning in another river or downing morphine in some clinic. The panic made him feel light, but at the same time the world was crashing down on him.
Goddamn. That bastard’s ugly mug wormed its way into his brain until he decided, fuck it, he needed to ensure Dazai’s safety.
He reluctantly threw on his jacket and hat and dragged his ass out the door and down the street to Dazai’s.
