Summary
No, Sansa starts minding when she is six and she sees a man covered in blood, with a gaping neck wound showing all the muscles and tendons and bone, staring straight at her, and she screams, fear making her run off, far from her family that call her name and chase after her. It is Robb that finds her first, nine years old and scared but determined to protect his little sister from whatever it is that terrified her so much. In a shaky whisper Sansa tells him what she saw, fingers trembling and stomach still twisting, “it was awful,” she gasps, shuddering, and Robb holds her close, his arms so tight around her it feels as if he’s the only thing holding her together.
She sees them everywhere she goes, out of the corner of her eye, staring straight at her once they realize that she can see them. It scares her even more when they try to talk to her, voices stilted like they’ve forgotten how to speak after so long: asking her what happened to them; where they are and who she is.

Summary
Then Ravi is there, and before he can touch her, eyes dark with worry and mouth pinched into a thin line of fear (Pip wants to take the fear away from him, she never wants to see this look on his face ever again), Pip steps back, knees nearly buckling, and holds her hands up, blocking him from getting any closer.
“You can’t touch me,” she says, her voice a hoarse croak that burns on the way out, “you need to call the police and they need to get evidence, you can’t touch me.”
There can’t be any evidence of Ravi’s DNA on her, not even a partial fingerprint, Jason Bell cannot ever be allowed to try to pin any of this on Ravi. She will murder him if he ever tries and she will celebrate over his grave. Ravi looks at her and Pip looks back, because she is alive and she loves him and she has forever to look at his face.

Summary
She considers it for a moment, chewing on the straw to her drink and smirks a little when the guy meets her eyes, a slow smile growing on his own face as he raises his bottle of beer to her in a mock salute. She cocks her head at him, lets the slender strap of her dress slip down her shoulder, lets him see she has no bra underneath it. He’s still looking at her, his full attention on her and it causes heat to sweep through her body, goosebumps to erupt on her arms. He brings his bottle to his mouth, a big hand and long fingers and a muscled forearm and Luna’s mouth goes dry at the sight of this throat and how it moves when he swallows.
(Does this make her an embarrassed amount of horny? Yes. Does it bother her? A little. Who the hell gave this man permission to seduce her via beer bottle? The prick.)

Summary
Hermione wonders if it’s possible that the universe just completely hates her, wants her gone in a spectacular way and would do anything to accomplish it. How else could it be possible that not only was her flight delayed by two-hours because of the impending storm, but now be delayed by five-hours? Maybe she just had the absolute worst luck in the world or had somehow royally pissed off God or whatever was up there in the sky.

Summary
Zuko is weak. That is the first fact that little Azula ever learns. Her father teaches her this over and over. Ozai insists that everyone acknowledges just how inferior and pathetic her older brother is compared to them.
Zuko is also kind. This is the second fact Azula learns, and her older brother teaches it to her himself.
or
Azula and Zuko are a little bit kinder to each other. This has consequences of world-shaking proportions.

Summary
“Your father and your uncle, they fight. They don’t always get along. But you two, my Zuko and Azula, you are the light of the Fire Nation.” Ursa squeezes their shoulders gently. “When your uncle is Fire Lord, and your cousin Lu Ten is next in line, you will be important players in the royal court. There will be people who will try to divide you. You Must Not Let Them.” She emphasizes every word, looking at them seriously. “You are siblings, and you love each other. Promise me that you’ll always look out for each other.”
“I promise,” Zuko says, looking at Azula. She feels the words deep inside her. Something sacred.
“I promise,” Azula says.

Summary
“I wonder if they’ll be a bender.” All of his carefree attitude seemed to drain out of Aang; his shoulders drooped, his smile vanished, his eyes unfocused. Katara set down her cup of tea and grabbed his hand that still pressed against her stomach. The child inside of her shifted, as though reaching for the touch of their father, causing Aang to smile sadly. “I should want them to be an airbender.”
“You don’t?” Katara asked, confused.
The traditions of the Southern Water Tribe were taught to their children, but so were the tenets of the Air Nomads. Their daughter followed Aang’s vegetarian diet and would sit by his side as he meditated. Yes, she would shift about and peek up at him, but she was an undeniable daddy’s girl that hung onto his every word. Bumi, their wild boy, loved stories of his father’s exploits from a hundred years ago, but he was a Water Tribe boy through-and-through.
She wanted for Aang to have another person in his life—that wasn’t a bison or a flying lemur—that could use the element of air.

Summary
The spirits danced along in a myriad of colors against the sky about ten years after the end of the war.
“They disappeared, just a slow trickle, before they were all gone, nowhere to be seen,” his Gran Gran had told him once when he was child as the hearth of coals radiated heat towards where their family was bundled close together to keep warm in the winter chill. “They're mourning us and the slow decline of who we once were. We used to dance and sing with the spirits, they were so beautiful.” Sokka had closed his eyes that night and tried to dream about what the spirits could look like.
Never had he dreamed of what it truly looked like.
