It was oddly silent. Something about this.. seems.. suspicious..
Cream’s grin widen, clutching the fox’s wrist. A spark of hope ignited in her. Maybe.. they could rest with the others, laugh along with jokes, sleep peacefully without needing to hide from a monstrous creature who wants every single one of them dead.
“T–tails! We’re gonna make it!”
Tails’s breath hitched. He wanted to respond happily to Cream, but.. something about this situation just... weird. It was like something bad was about to happen.
