Merlin just wasn’t aware of how lonely his birthday was until he was forced to live through them without company.

Summary
In this AU, Arthur found out Merlin was immortal two years before his death. He spoke to the Fates, and they revealed certain truths to him. So now, in the time he has left, Arthur spends his days writing—1,500 letters to be exact. One letter for each year of Merlin’s life, asking him to do one thing that year until Arthur returns in the future.
But I’m using this idea to practice my writing. I hope you enjoy it.
