Most think that with the dissolution of Westeros’s monarchy, meant the end of the Targaryens power and influence over the Seven Kingdoms. But the Targaryens have traded a throne of swords for the seat at the boardroom, dragons for private jets, and Kings and Queens for CEOs. But not everything’s changed- in fact, with this dynasty, some things never change. Even when the world changes, a Targaryen is still a Targaryen, and they are drawn to their own- for a dragon alone in the world is still a terrible thing.
The times have changed, but the Targaryens haven’t, for the scandal, infighting, lust and ambition still lie behind the polished images of silver hair.
Even if those images are on our screens, and not on royal portraits.

“Do you feel in control of yourself right now?” Moxley asks, tone calm even in the face of Will’s fury.
The question first strikes Will as odd. Of course he’s in control. The Death Riders taught him restraint, respect, discipline. The Death Riders taught him how not to be that cocky kid who thought the world was made for him, the one who didn’t have control over his own body for nearly a year.
Of course Will’s in control. Moxley taught him how to be.
But then Will feels his fingers start to ache. His eyes flick over to remind his brain where they are: twisted tight into the fabric of Danny’s shirt. Holding Danny, who’s still staring at Will like he’s grown a third eye. Danny, his friend, his brother, who looks like he’s afraid Will may tear out his throat with his teeth.
Control. Will is in control.
