By the time number nine of her top thirteen living serial killers turned up dead, she knew something wickedly exciting was afoot.
The trail leads her to New Orleans, a human-run Outcast fighting ring, and the one monster she swore she’d never trust again.
Darkness, it turns out, makes an excellent partner in crime.

After hearing Tyler escaped his transport to Willow Hill, Wednesday returns to Nevermore in search of Thornhill's notes on the hyde. The two collide and in their brawl, inadvertently dose themselves with some of Laurel's sex pollen—a drug Tyler is, unfortunately, very familiar with. Seeing Wednesday panic over her physical reaction, reawakens Tyler's empathy and he tries to talk a confused and drugged Wednesday through the experience.
