“Sir,” one of them said, “We found this hybrid in the woods earlier. And… And…” he stuttered through his words, sweat running down his forehead.
“We thought that we’d give it what it deserved before we brought it back to base camp,” another hunter said, pushing aside the other one, he saluted to Phil and nodded, “it stole food from one of the merchants here and broke a few barrels when it was running. We thought that it deserved some sort of punishment.”
