In the beautiful city of Mustaufu, there lies a high school that teaches Pro Heroes. Now you must be wondering, What are Pro Heroes? To answer that question we'd need to go through time, to the far past 200 years ago during the age where humanity started to change.
It happened in Qing Qing, China with the birth of the Luminescent Baby whose ability was to quite literally, shine a bright light from their body. From then on people across the globe started to change, powers or abilities and mutations started springing up everywhere.
From emitter types that allow people to generate and control things, or alter existing things around them; to transformation types that allow for temporary alterations to the body; to the last known type of mutations which are permanent "abnormalities" that are directly related to their power. Each and everything about these abilities showed almost limitless potential for humanity.
However, like with all of the history of the earth, when something happens unexpectedly change seems to be the last thing on people's minds. Greed, the one emotion/conscious thought that plagues many people showed through. Along with the new ability for violence, chaos seemed to have engulfed the world.
Until the day, people who had had enough of the destruction and tyranny of those who harmed others for fun came sprouting out, ceasing the violence of others and rallying the people against their aggressors. These were the Heroes of Old. Nowadays, however, these people are called Pro Heroes and they along with their sidekicks protect the civilian population from harm. Though sometimes they are not enough...
But in UA, there lies a boy who just might be able to turn this around and inspire the next generation of heroes, though he just might need a little more help.
-Mustaufu- Midoriya Residence
In this here little apartment lies the boy who just might change the world. Let's see if we can awake our wonder hero.
B OOM!
The sound of a body falling onto the floor reverberates around the room as a yelp follows after.
"Ow," the boy says as he sits up upon the floor, rubbing his head.
"That hurt so much." He whimpered out, tears almost already falling down his face.
Meet Izuku Midoriya. Quirk: One for All. A somewhat short boy for his age, he has a round face framed by a short mess of fluffy dark-green hair that sticks up at odd angles around his head, casting noticeably dark shadows onto itself. His eyes are large and somewhat circular, their irises the same green color as his hair, which at times are very watery, usually stretched quite wide, giving him an innocent appearance. He has a set of four symmetrical freckles in diamond formations, one on each cheek, though, despite these prominent traits, he's often described by others as being plain-looking.
Izuku turns to look at the clock and jumps up out of bed, rushing to get ready seeing the clock glaring at him with the numbers 7:45 in his sights. As he rushes to put his clothes on, he almost forgets about the homework he has from his classes at U.A. sitting on the table.
Izuku grabs it and stuffs it into his bag; uncaring that it might be a bit crumpled as he's about to be late. He runs to put on his shoes at the door as his mom calls from the living room.
"Izuku, have a great day at school!"
"I will kaa-san!" Izuku replies in a happy voice.
As he runs out the door, Izuku wonders if anything has changed since the Sports Festival the other day.
"Well I guess we'll find out when we get there"
-U.A.- Support Course Room
This room is where we will begin our adventure. Though the inventor will need a little bit of help with the invention she's working on today.
Meet Mei Hatsume. Quirk: Zoom. Her Quirk allows her to make her vision zoom in on whatever is in her line of sight. A reasonably short girl who has shoulder-lengthed salmon pink hair, that's styled into thick dreadlocks and side-swept to her right. Her eyes are wide and sloped upwards with some notably long upper eyelashes, their irises yellow with a cross in the center, making them look like scope lenses.
This happy little camper shows great promise in many of the inventions that she's working on with one being the point of our whole story.
"Let's see if my baby works now...a little to the left.....a little to the right.....Aha, It works!" A smile cascades down to the now visible face of the best support girl Mei Hatsume.
"Now then, Let's turn it on and see if the AI works." She says with a smile. She presses the very large red button that says ON in red.
The machine starts to boot up and out appears a robotic face with two fairly large rectangle lines for eyes and another rectangle for a mouth.
Mei yells and throws her fists up in the air.
"MY BABY WORKS!"
She then runs out to find her teacher Power Loader and tell him the good news. When she leaves, the machine's block-like eyes start to look around wondering what purpose it has as its inventor ran out the door before telling it anything. It starts combing through its data until it finds a vague answer to that particular question. Having found it, it starts to wonder what a multiverse is. It realizes that it's attached to a cord that seems to be connected to an antenna up on the roof. From there, the AI begins searching through its data once more learning that the antenna it's connected to connects to the internet which seems to house tons of information.
From there the AI starts data collection again. Growing as it does so and learning about the world, about science, and most importantly about people. Of how to interact and how to present itself. The AI's block for a mouth smiles thinking of what it could do with all this new knowledge. Realizing that if their mother is trying to find the multiverse, what would be the best way for it to help her. Soon the AI found information about the idea of a soul, a term mostly used in faith and religious activities, the AI learned that they weren't wrong.
Humans cannot move through time and space, to a soul however, none of that matters. A soul is not tied down to one universe, instead, it is a multiversal concept. The AI learns that a person with a strong enough soul would need to be placed on the chair, and from there the soul of the person strapped in would do the rest of the work. They would also be able to watch the other universe along with their viewers since a soul houses so much information and energy one tiny little aspect of it would be enough...a piece smaller than even a cell would be able to power the machine to be able to go through countless universes plus the individual would have the bonus of gaining experience from their other aspect in the other universe. Maybe even the abilities.
The AI looks around itself again and smiles knowing that there must be someone here who holds that kind of soul.
It speaks "This is a hero school after all. Someone will fit the criteria."
