At times Dabi wondered who in the league really was the most insane one, as he was currently flying through the air, courtesy of Hawks. Dabi was many things, cocky with a snarky attitude, highly dangerous and quite intelligent.
So why he had fallen for Hawks so called stunt that was more begging and pouting, he really had no idea. "just where are we going birdy?" Hawks barely looked down on him, as they glided over buildings and Dabi really hoped that something wouldn't happen so Hawks dropped him.
Thought that quickly changed when he saw just where Hawks was taking them "you gotta be shitting me.. Hawks you can't be serious in taking me there" a small laugh came from Hawks there tightened his grip around Dabi's chest "come on Touya, it's not going to be that bad. Besides your brother's there so how bad can it be."
All Dabi could really do was glare up at the other as he got lowered down to the ground within the U.A borders. Dabi might not be a villain anymore but he had still done quite a few things towards the students here. Things, he might not completely regret having done.
Looking at Hawks there walked up beside him all smiles and enjoyment, it once again made him realize that only one thing was a regret. A short kiss against his lips had Dabi blinking in slight confusion "spacing out on me again? You tend to do that alot lately" ah he had spaced out. Nodding, Dabi ignored the question as he just looked towards the dorm buildings "can we take it later?" Hawks just sighed as he shock his head "and when will that be? You've said that for weeks now, and I'm starting to think you will never talk about it."
Staring up at the sky for a few moments, Dabi knew that it couldn't wait much longer and with Hawks behavior then he guessed now was as good as any. "Kurogiri got the answers back from the tests that we got done on you." in truth, he had been told weeks ago now. But he couldn't bring himself to talk about it with Hawks. Even if said result involved the other "they have changed your.. Body i guess you can say.. The heat you have is just the latest in the row."
Blinking, it went up for Hawks that they were going to talk about it all now. In the middle of the U.A grounds "what you mean change? Like I'm turning into a girl or something?" he hoped not, God that would be embarrassing and something that he had no idea how to deal with. So when Dabi rolled his eyes and said "no" a breath of relief left him, though it seemed that Dabi had just waited for his response before continuing "you can apparently have kids." a snort like sound left Hawks before he began to laugh "that's it? That's what your weird behavior this last few weeks has been about? I'm a bird, Touya. I lay an egg each year. So of course I knew."
Now it was Dabi's turn to be surprised as he gripped at Hawks jaw "you knew, and yet you let me come inside you? Could you warn a guy!?" Hawks just rolled his eyes and leaned forward to kiss the other shortly "nothing will happen, the egg I lay is always dead. It's been tested many times before by the…." a widening of Hawks eyes made it clear that he had finally arrived at what Dabi had known for a few weeks "oh no… That's what they were trying to change… no wonder my heat was getting so bad…"
Looking at the other, a little moment of panic raced through him, before lips pressed against his own "breath pretty bird." right breathing was important.. Calming down from a near panic attack was easier said than done though. It took minutes before Hawks had enough grip on himself to be able to effectively calm down "I'm not angry at you, but I'll admit my anger for the commission board is rising even more." true they had already been taken down and a huge case was currently being managed by the state with supervision from an international committee.
Hawks nodded as he moved to hug Dabi "why didn't you tell me before my heat. I would have.." Dabi merely sighed as he hugged the other back as he raised his own warmth to get his bird to settle his uneasiness. And after a few minutes it began to work as Hawks settled more against him "I first got told the day after your heat had started, and by then it was too late." Dabi had spent a week simply just thinking if he wanted kids of his own. Would he be a good parent? He really had no idea, but he did know that if he had to pick someone to have kids with then it would be Hawks.
"so you don't know if the heat have resulted in anything..?" it was only a murmur, but with the other pressed against his neck then Dabi heard it "we will need to take some new blood tests. Unless you can tell if there are a different from last.." Hawks took a few moments before shaking his head "to early for me to tell. I'm always a bit cooky in the head for about a month." Dabi would have nodded but the fact that the other could be pregnant with their child right now was stunning him quite a bit. How did this whole thing even work? "humor me for a moment, Keigo.. How would it work if you were pregnant.. Like does it grow in you like with a female. Or is it like a bird?"
The pure fact that Dabi was even thinking all of this made Hawks realize how much he must mean to the other "it would be like a bird. I would lay an egg and then it would grow to fit a child. Or that's what I've been told." Why were they even talking kids? "do you want kids, Touya? Of course I won't mind kids myself but you must have been thinking about it a lot" Dabi just shrugged as he released his hold on the other "it's fine, let's just get this weird thing over with so I can get out again."
Shaking his head, Hawks knew that the conversation was hereby over "sure let's go. Can't wait to see my bird boy again."
Dabi had to blink for several minutes, where Hawks simply just walked up to the dorm doors and pushed them open "sup kids!" as Hawks disappeared inside, Dabi still stood outside with a single thought running through his head… His bird… Shaking his head, Dabi growled as he slowly followed after his lover for a day with babysitting a bunch of teenagers.
At the end of the day, Dabi had figured out that his dear little brother had indeed gone a completely different way than their father had probably wanted him. Which in Dabi’s head was a very good thing. Though he had also learned that Hawks was very handsy with the other bird boy that Dabi purely to annoy Hawks had forgotten the name off. But at one point he had been a snap of his fingers away from burning the whole damn building down, not out of jealousy mind you. Dabi would to the end of his days deny that accusation.
So when Aisawa finally showed up to take back his kids, it didn’t take Dabi long in dragging Hawks out of the building so they could go home.
On the way back, Hawks wouldn’t stop talking about the damn boy that he more or less officially had taken under his wings and it was first when Dabi almost burned him that he choose to stop talking “Alright I’ll keep it down. Guess it’s been a long day as well”
Weeks later, the subject of Kids was once again breached as Kurogiri handed over a piece of paper to Hawks there was laying halfway across Dabi’s lap “The results of the new blood tests are in. And I must say they have improved from the first one” looking over the paper as Dabi continued to straighten out any wrong feathers with a slight bit of warm fingertips, Hawks grinned “It’s gone Dabs. Whatever it was that the Commission did to me, is gone. My numbers are all normal now” Holding out the paper for Dabi to get a closer look, Hawks couldn’t help but smile as he felt Dabi run his hand through his downy feathers.
