Chapter Text
“Do you understand what it means if you do this?” Val’eld’kf asked. Her forked tongue swiped across her lover’s bare shoulder and up her collarbone. She could taste the sand and juniper that clung to Emilia’s skin along with the dye and fibers of her vocation now that she had settled into the cave below the desert spires as her permanent home. “Every one of my kind will know, and I will never be able to leave you afterward.”
Emilia huffed a warm, though not unkindly, breath across Val’s even hotter skin. “You’ve already marked me so thoroughly with your scent that I can’t imagine anyone would be confused, mi querida.” Her great dragon let out a growl that was less terror-inducing and more purr-adjacent in her comparatively small human form. “Give me your real body if we’re to mate. I want to feel your scales under my hands when you put your teeth in me.”
The brass dragon was only too happy to oblige her little weaver.
