It was that time of the month everyone looks forward to, Minecraft Championships.
A monthly event that is hosted for known Minecraft content creators to participate in an all out competition of games in teams of four. This month has been hyped as one of the teams has three out of four of the fan favorite friends: Craig, Clyde, and Token. Their fourth member this time turns out to be Jason, who isn't particularly as close as the three, but is friendly enough to fit into their dynamic based on their short interactions and a seemingly good team player.
It was also that time of the month where people have to put up with Cartman, who never fails to piss everyone off at some point.
"Dude, Cartman is such a fucking asshole."
"Tell me about it."
"I don't get why he still gets to participate in MCC after the other shit he has done before, he was so obviously using a cheat the last round. It's supposed to be a fun, friendly competition and what does that bitch do? Fucking ruin it." Craig continued to rant as they waited with everyone for the next round.
"I don't even think I'm considered friendly with him either." Jason commented.
Token sighed as he leaned back on his chair, "Unfortunately, he's still one of the biggest content creators out here so it's probably that. I don't really care about him as long as we don't get teamed up."
Craig scoffed, "Yeah, just imagine how Kyle is doing right now, dude." The noirette says before taking a drink from his water bottle.
Jason snickered, "He's been in a lot of teams with him, I just feel so bad."
Rustling on the other end cuts the conversation short as another voice spoke up, "Hey, I'm back! I got myself a burger."
"Hey, Clyde."
"Welcome back, man."
Craig groaned as he put away his water, dragging his hands across his face in annoyance, "Oh, God. Don't tell me that you're gonna be eating throughout the entire game. You'll get distracted like that!"
"I won't, I swear! I'll eat quickly before the next round." The brunette took a big bite of his food, "Wook, am ea-ing one wight mow!"
Token grimaced at his friend's manners, "Don't talk with your mouth full. You'll choke or something, Jesus."
"Yeah, Clyde, listen to mom."
Jason laughed at that while Token just rolled his eyes, "Let's just go back to shit-talking Cartman or something."
"You weh shi-awking Cahman wi-ouh me?!" Clyde exclaimed, mouth still full.
"Yeah, he was literally cheating and cursing out everyone who was calling him out."
"Yeah, fu-ing ass-ow. Shou-n't be awwowed to play to be ho-est." The brunette responded before swallowing his food and taking a sip on his soda.
"Clyde, put down your burger and wipe your hands. I don't want you to complain about greasy keyboard, again."
"Whatever, Craig. I'm not the only one who gets distracted!" He retorted but still complied and wiped his hands with wet tissues.
"Guys, it's almost time so stop fighting. Craig is right, put your food down."
"I did, mom!"
Jason, who had just been listening to the conversation, spoke up, "Which game should we pick?"
Token hummed, "We should go with Ace Race. Let's get that one out of the way."
"I agree, Wendy is mainly the best in Ace Race and she has Stan who has the best Dodge Bolt record out of everyone here with them." Craig said Stan's named with a sour tone, "So her team might become a problem later if they keep doing well. Let's be glad we don't have Sands Of Time this time."
"Dude, Wendy did so well last MCC. She literally carries her teams." Clyde commented.
Token snaps his fingers, "Exactly, we need to get their bests first, then we'll have to pick ours later to move her down. Just don't get too low away from second and first. It's our best bet to get to the last round.
"Hell yeah, let's do this!"
As they hoped, Ace Race was chosen to be the next round. The whole round went surprisingly smooth for their team with Craig finishing in eleventh, Token in eighth, Clyde in twenty-second, and Jason in nineteenth.
"As expected, Pink Parrots skyrocketed to first. Didn't expect Mysterion's team to pop-off and get second, though."
Clyde leaned back on his chair and stretched up his arms, "If we don't get Battle Box soon we might be fucked."
"Mmh, yeah, I'm gonna go on mute for a bit."
"Alright, talk to you later, Craig."
As soon as the noirette muted his end of the call, silence fell on the team before Clyde and Token burst into laughter and smug smirks.
"He's so calling Tweek."
"Totally calling Tweek."
Jason raised an eyebrow, "For real?"
"Oh, sorry Jason! You probably don't know Tweek-"
"No, I actually do. We've been friends for quite a while."
Clyde straightened up at that, "What."
Jason lets out a nervous laugh, "You didn't know that?"
"Uh, no?! You and Tweek never said anything?! Since when have you been friends?!"
Their fourth member shrugged, "I don't know, a few years?"
"Years?! Jason, with all due respect, what the fuck."
"I get that I'm not the biggest shot here so you probably didn't know, it's fine. Besides, I call him Tea on my streams instead."
"What, like T-shirt?"
"No, like the drink. Found it funny since he drinks coffee a lot more and he wanted to stay anonymous at the time. It kinda just stuck."
"Huh. I guess that's cool." Clyde commented.
"Did you… like… know he became friends with us?" Token hesitantly asked.
"Uh, of course? It was like, literally all over social media. Tweek wouldn't shut up about it either so I kind of know the whole thing in detail."
Clyde leaned closer to his desk and pulls his mic very close to his mouth, "How much detail are we talking about?"
"Nope, not telling. Tea would kill me."
The brunette whimpered as he pushed the mic away, "Jason, please, it's for the sake of this team."
"I don't think gossip will do much for our chances of winning."
"Hush, Toke! I need to get this info!" Clyde puts his palm together, "Jason, please, it was fate that you're currently an honorary member for CATG this MCC, please, I need this."
Jason smirked, "Honorary member? I thought that spot was taken by Tweek."
"There can be two! Do you want to be the 6th one in the group? Because you can!"
Token gaped at his friend's desperation, "Are you seriously bribing him literal friendship right now?"
Jason softly laughed and settled with, "Not on stream, Clyde."
Before Clyde could respond, a different voice popped in, interrupting their conversation, "Hey! I fucking heard you bitches were talking shit about me!"
"CARTMAN, GET OFF OUR CALL!"
