Work Text:
Heeseung opened his eyes; two small gaps, just enough for him to reach the cell phone that was vibrating on the bedside table beside him. It was the alarm clock, reminding him that they had a full schedule that day, after all they were working out the last details for the comeback.
He felt as anxious as ever, the anticipation for the first full album was great.
Heeseung was a hard-working boy, always had been. From the time he was a trainee, he was the first and the last to leave the training rooms. For a while he feared that he would attract bad looks, but to his surprise, the other boys thought he was a great example, giving him a fame that he thought he didn't deserve.
In I-land it had been no different, he felt extremely grateful when they turned to him for advice or when he received a compliment, not because he felt he deserved it, but because it was a form of recognition for the efforts he made.
Despite everything, he was insecure.
With a small sigh, he left his cell phone under his pillow, and then closed his eyes, still feeling the haze of sleep over him.
It was wednesday after all. The worst day of the week in his conception. He didn't understand why, but he always felt his strength was exhausted, since it was the middle of the week, still far from his days off. This also affected his mood: the frown that formed on his features gave him an arrogant aura, which he was not. He was afraid that this would affect the other members. It was truly stressful.
For this reason he decided to be irresponsible, just a little, and take a few minutes' nap, and he knew that if he went over the stipulated time, Jungwon would come to his rescue.
However, before he could do it, he felt the person between his arms stir.
Sunghoon.
Your Sunghoon.
Heeseung felt his chest heat up, radiating strength and energy throughout his body. Opening his eyes, this time more aware of what he was doing, he looked at the top of the head that was resting on his chest. The hair, now platinum, in a way that resembled molten silver, spread over his bare skin, and it felt warm. The curtains prevented the light from getting in completely, but it was enough to see in detail the spots scattered across the younger man's shoulders and back. There weren't many, but they stood out on the soft, milky skin. Heeseung, fully awake now, followed carefully the cadenced breathing of the other, who gave subtle signs that he was waking up: first the small wrinkle of his nose, accompanied by a slight moan, a moan when he realized that he was no longer sleeping, and second, Sunghoon would squeeze whatever was within his reach, a pillow or his boyfriend. And he would always smile when it was the second option.
It was cute. Absurdly cute.
The older man had pulled away slightly to get a better look at the handsome face, the long fingers of one hand between the light strands in a peck that he knew was his favorite.
With fascination, he watched the light eyelids open and finally Sunghoon's eyes were in his.
"Hyung... good morning" the low, slightly husky voice sounded in the silent room. He snuggled even closer against the other's body, looking at him intently.
This scene had happened so many times that Heeseung couldn't count, and yet, he was so lost in just watching the other boy that, well, he forgot to actually watch him and Sunghoon's eyes were wide open, with his head held high. Both of them stared at each other for a few seconds, the older one because he was absorbing every detail of his boyfriend's expression, who was slowly becoming aware of what was happening, his cheeks acquiring a slight blush that made him even more adorable and ethereal. Heeseung imagined that if the moon goddess had a son, he would be Sunghoon. Or Sunghoon would be the moon goddess herself, he couldn't tell.
"Heeseung-hyung... I know I'm handsome, but you could at least say good morning to me, couldn't you?"
Heeseung laughed - the purest, most genuine smile that left his eyes almost closed - knowing how embarrassed it was making him; that was the other's way of disguising his shyness, which was not always present.
"Excuse me, Sunghoonie... you're too handsome." He said, pushing away the bangs that had fallen across his forehead, tidying up the messy strands. "Good morning, is everything okay?" He continued, with a question that could be considered rhetorical and useless, after all he was there in her arms, safe and secure, but Heeseung wasn't sure, every time he asked him that, he was expecting to receive an affirmation more than anything in the world.
He needed Sunghoon to always be okay.
"Hm." The boy nodded, rising slightly to leave a light kiss on another's cheek. He loved the warm touch of Heeseung's skin on his lips. He loved being there, wrapped in the smell and warmth of his hyung.
He would thank all the gods eternally that Heeseung had won at rock, paper and scissors the right to have a room to himself. Now they could have a good quality time alone, without disturbing the other members. Not that they were really bothered - Sunoo and Jungwon were always very keen to know all the details of their dates, bombarding Sunghoon with questions.
They were lucky to have the best friends in the world.
"Do we have time to stay here so quietly?" While questioning his hyung, Sunghoon propped his elbows on his chest, bringing their faces closer together, feeling a great satisfaction when he saw Heeseung's gaze waver: from his eyes to his lips and from there to his bare shoulders, the small purplish stain on his left shoulder was proof of what they had done last night.
Heeseung knew he needed to give an answer to something Sunghoon had asked, however, it was his actions that won out.
One hand wrapped around the other's neck and with no room for refusal - not that Sunghoon would refuse, of course - their lips joined in a passionate kiss.
Understand, Heeseung was a gentle boy, with his big doe eyes he could even pass off a cute and innocent image to the outsider. But it was on stage that he showed his strength, sizzling and even a little arrogant.
With Sunghoon, he discovered that he could be that way for other things too.
So his kiss was always warm and needy, the gentleness almost completely forgotten. Almost, because he could not forget the treasure he held in his hands.
Sunghoon even tried to compete at first, but who was he kidding when he was just melting in his hyung's hands? It was nice to have someone in control of you in those moments.
The Ice Prince was just heat in those moments.
They were both burning in a small private fire. No one could interrupt it, because it was something as absolute as all the laws of nature, like every day when the sun rises on the horizon.
This was supposed to be a simple good morning kiss, but Heeseung lost a little control over anything that involved the other. His kiss was demanding, always wanting more. Their tongues intertwined and it was even difficult not to clash teeth in the middle of the action. Sunghoon responded just as eagerly, panting as he followed the older man's tongue with desperate, hungry grace while his hands sought support on his shoulders.
Heeseung released his lips in a pop, breathing heavily, his hands busily clasping his well-made waist, showing that that was where he should stay. He listened with satisfaction to Sunghoon's low moan as he bit his lower lip, sealing the spot several times in a form of consolation - not an apology, for he had done it on purpose.
Sunghoon opened his dark eyes when he felt him pulling away long enough from his face that he missed the kisses.
Heeseung smiled, silly and passionate, leaving chaste kisses on his mouth, nose and forehead, feeling the warmth emanating from his perfect face.
"Wow!" Sunghoon gasped, a little dizzy perhaps. "Wasn't yesterday enough, hyung? Don't you think you're demanding too much of me?" He joked, nestling his face into the curve of her neck as he tried to control his own heartbeat.
I've already explained it to you, Hoonie" he looked quite serious at this point "you're too beautiful for me not to want to kiss you whenever possible."
Sunghoon smiled, elated.
Lee Heeseung, the ace, that amazing, talented and very hot guy thought he was beautiful. And to top it all off, he was his boyfriend.
He felt in a bubble of happiness.
However, two knocks on the door made that mental bubble burst as the leader's voice was heard on the other side.
"Hyungs, we have to leave in half an hour, come eat."
Heeseung sighed. "Thanks, Jungwonie, we'll be right out."
Knowing he couldn't delay the moment any longer, Sunghoon quickly kissed the other, getting up from the bed and gathering his clothes scattered on the floor. After dressing impeccably in his pajamas, - as if he had spent the night with him - he walked to the door.
"See you in a bit." He smiled charmingly, then walked out.
Heeseung smiled to himself, feeling foolish for thinking that Wednesday - and all the others - would be bad. One look at the boy who had just left was enough to make him feel good.
There was no Wednesday, or any other day of the week, that could compete with his Sunghoon.
