My hand cramping up I put down my Present Mic pencil and stopped transferring my notes to my notebook. Instead, I open my computer and log into Discord, clicking on SleepyCat71 ’s profile.

I feel like if I ignore this day, then everything I went through before was for nothing. The hiding in closets, the burns, the suicide bating. Everything meant nothing.

Of course, I would. You’re my best friend. Quirk or not you believed that I could be a hero. You weren’t scared of my quirk and didn’t care about my past. You have been the one constant in my life. You helped me find a new home and allowed me a space I could be myself in. I have so much more I could thank you for, but I just realized how long this is taking me to type and you’re probably panicking over the long message.

I logged off, shutting off the computer. Mom’s probably not even going to be home so I’ll just head there after school. Walking downstairs I grabbed the leftover Ramen I made the night before. I had left it there for Mom, but she didn’t come home last night. After finishing up my dinner, I showered and headed to bed.
