Fascinating

Summary:

The problem was that Daniel was something else, fascinating, and Louis wanted him. It was simple, until it wasn't.

Notes:

I let the voices win again. This time this is about s02e05, but simply because the tension between Daniel and Louis was just too much for me to handle.

Chapter Text

"You don't have to be afraid of me."

"I mean, man - I don't have nothing against you, but you're - you're a vampire. " Daniel gasped with a tense laugh, as much from fear as from disbelief. "How could I not be afraid of you?"

Louis tilted his head to the side with a slight smile, then sighed, leaning on the table where Daniel was sitting, looking at him through those beautiful eyelashes, looking at him with those beautiful eyes. Mm. "You're not scared, though. " he smiled softly. "Not really. "

Daniel looked away as if he had been caught red-handed. He swallowed, took a breath and was silent for a second. "It's... kind of cool. I guess. "

"Is it? " Louis had a slightly seductive tone in his voice, and part of him wanted to say that he wasn't doing it on purpose. What could he say? This human, this boy in front of him - he wasn't like the others.

Daniel looked at him again. He blinked. "You could - " he hesitated, looking at Louis' lips. "You know... " he tried to gesture, clumsily.

Louis raised his eyebrows. "I'm sorry, I don't understand. " he said innocently.

Daniel hesitated again. "Could you do the fangs thing again?" he asked, with an uncertain tone.

The vampire smiled again before feeling his fangs growing in his mouth, he opened his lips slightly and showed his sharp canine teeth to Daniel, who smiled in return, still a little scared, but visibly surprised and excited. He got up from the chair he was sitting in, eyes glazed over his fangs, while Louis remained in place, standing still, mainly so as not to alarm the boy in front of him, but also because he was very curious about where this was going.

Daniel came close enough to lean a little towards him, still staring at his fangs. He laughed softly. "That's — I mean. " he looked briefly at Louis. "That's really cool, man."

"I'm glad you think so," Louis said briefly, licking his lips before smiling with closed lips. He waited, knowing what was coming, but he still waited.

"Can I... " Daniel murmured, seemingly trying to muster up a little more courage. "Can I touch them? "

The vampire let out a short, muffled laugh, yes, this boy really was something else. He opened his mouth again, fangs bared, and stood still, waiting. Daniel hesitantly moved his hand closer to his mouth, seeming very focused on what he was doing. "They look very sharp. " he commented, distracted.

Louis made a sound of agreement, with his mouth open, and breathed softly through his nose. He kept his eyes on Daniel's face, intrigued. Really intrigued. Interested.

Daniel placed one hand carefully on his jaw, and used his other free hand to press his thumb against his sharp tooth. It wasn't enough to draw blood from his finger, but enough for him to quickly pull his thumb away, surprised by how sharp his teeth really were. "Oh." he muttered, amazed. Then he tried again.

Louis let him do whatever he wanted, for some unknown reason. He looked away and let Daniel hold his head back slightly, opening his mouth even wider, giving more visibility to his fangs. The boy seemed to be having the time of his life, gently touching his fangs as if he was afraid of putting pressure on Louis at the same time as he was afraid of hurting himself. The vampire closed his eyes and sighed, Daniel's hand on his jaw caressed his cheek and Louis let out a soft sound through his teeth.

Daniel swallowed audibly. "Are you okay?" he breathed, not sure what the right word was for what he was feeling. It bordered on euphoria and danger, but left his heart racing, a warm feeling in his stomach.

Louis opened his eyes, confused by the question and surprised at the same time. Then he smiled a little, still with his mouth open, raising his eyebrows. When Daniel's thumb pressed lightly against his tongue when he was distracted by Louis' intense eyes fixed on his, Louis closed his lips around his thumb, pulling his fangs away, and stared at him, curious what the reaction would be this time.

Daniel let out a startled and surprised sound, but close to needy. He looked at Louis' lips around his thumb, swallowed his own saliva with difficulty and then let his own eyes lock onto Louis' again. "Oh." he repeated, sounding a little more breathless.

The vampire opened his eyes again, grabbed Daniel's wrist carefully, and slid his tongue across his palm, maintaining eye contact. Daniel gasped through his mouth while trying not to blink. "Okay, that's – oh God —" he choked out softly.

The boy in front of him seemed hypnotized. His face red, the blood rushing to his face, his breathing unsteady, heart racing, the blood rushing through his veins and Louis sighed, sucking his thumb before sliding his tongue around Daniel's finger. "Oh shit. " Daniel let out a sound that sounded like something very close to a whimper and Louis smiled.

Louis pulled his fingers away from his mouth, licking his lips nonchalantly, he let go of Daniel's wrist and pulled himself together, clearing his throat. Then he looked at the boy. Daniel looked like he was trapped in a dream, his eyes flicking between Louis' eyes and his lips.

"Damn." he muttered, then pulled Louis into a kiss. His hand grasped the back of the vampire's neck, pulling him against him, and their lips pressed together with intensity. Louis smiled against his lips, placing a hand on his shoulder.

They kissed for what seemed like an eternity. Daniel sighed against his lips, trying to get as close to him as his body was physically capable of reaching, one hand on the back of his neck, the other grabbing his waist and squeezing, Louis sliding an arm around his shoulder and pressing their chests together, gently biting Daniel's lower lip.

Daniel moaned softly, his eyes closed, and interrupted the kiss to breathe, panting. He opened his eyes, his face even redder, the blush turning his ears red. The boy smiled, a little shyly, but more confidently. "That was nice. " he whispered.

Louis made a sound from deep in his throat, agreeing, then brought a hand up to his cheek, his thumb caressing his face. In the brief light of the room, his eyes seemed even more intense and mesmerizing, everything around Louis seemed so fiery that Daniel felt euphoric, as if his blood was boiling inside him. His eyes took root in his soul and his chest burned, he was about to fall to his knees right there, damn it, at the feet of that vampire who seemed so majestic in his eyes.

"Say it. " Louis took a deep breath, observing every detail on his face as if he were trying to memorize it for the rest of his life.

Daniel frowned, confused. "What?" he muttered.

"Tell me what you want right now. " the vampire said calmly, and his eyes shone, then darkened as he tilted his head. "I'll give it to you. "

Daniel swallowed. He blinked a few times, and then: "I want... you. " he whispered.

And it would be insanity to refuse him anything at that moment.
