Work Text:
Atom was minding his own business on top of the pool. He didn't have his blade of grass with him at the moment. He enjoyed looking out at the Plane. It was relaxing.
His attention was taken away from the view when he heard Tray grunt, bringing herself to the top of the pool. Soon after, Contact Lens followed, Tray helping him up.
Atom didn't say anything initially, curious as to what they were up to. News spread of their relationship, which is what made him curious.
Tray and Contact Lens made their way to the edge of the pool, both of their hands being held by the other’s. Tray’s back faced the pool. She had a large grin on her face. She giggled. “I'm a little nervous.”
Contact Lens giggled, too. “It's okay. This is what they did in the movie.”
Their faces were inches away from one another, Contact Lens leaning forward towards her. The two began kissing. Both their eyes were closed. She had her arms wrapped around him. He did his best to wrap his arms around her.
Their lips remained connected for a solid four seconds, then Contact Lens leaned forward enough to where Tray began leaning back. And then, two fell back into the pool. Tray floated on her back, Contact Lens sitting atop her. The pair laughed with raw, unfiltered joy.
“You look pretty.” He commented, laying on his stomach.
“You look adorable.” She countered. “You're so tiny up there.”
He hummed, amused. He started running his finger on her face. “I can make drawings on your face.”
She giggled, closing an eye. “H-Hey, stop! That tickles!”
Contact Lens slowed down, looking down at her eyes. His eyes fell, half lidded. “I could even.. kiss you again.” He muttered.
Her eyes fell, similarly. “Then.. do it.”
They stared at each other lovingly. The water was still. Atom decided to look away.
The two were clearly in love. This moment was meant for them, and them only. He got down from the pool. He'll let them have their alone time.
But Atom was happy for them.
