Welcome!
I am currently reworking this story. It was my first Hogwarts Legacy story that I had shared publicly, and when I wrote it, I was worried about maintaining canon compliance. There are many parts I wasn't completely satisfied with, and I wanted to redo them to fit into the story I have created today.
While the meat of the story will still be there, aspects of it will be altered to be more MY story rather than exact dialogue and description from the game. Notable lines may still be used, but overall, I wanted to make something that I could be proud to call my work.
If you would still like to enjoy the story, you are more than welcome to start with 'Secrets of the Silent Stars - Sixth Year', which is in progress and does not include any fifth-year game events. Regardless, thank you for reading!! <3

I've always had ideas rolling around in my head about stories I wanted to create, but never had the motivation to sit down and fully develop them. This will be my first independently created fanfic that I've published on any site ever!
This story is a slow burn from a third-person limited perspective. While the events from the story take place during the game events in Hogwarts Legacy (including dialogue), there will be deviations, including added/removed scenes, and scenes and details altered to fit better with my narrative (because fanfic!). I will also be changing the timeline in places.
Rated MATURE TW: major character death, descriptions of familial abuse (verbal/emotional/physical), references to physical abuse, descriptions of death and violence (equivalent to the game), swearing, trauma, the use of unforgivable curses, and internal monologuing of inappropriate sexual thoughts. I will update tags as I go.
Characters are aged up so that they are sixteen in fifth year.
I'm very excited (and nervous) to put this story out there, but as they say, "make something YOU would like". So that's what I'm going to do!
