Path of despair - The final sin

Summary:

Murder X3 Enoshima

Needs despair

Their mother showed them the best way to get it was through killing games, and- they’ve always wanted to kill a certain group of kids who absolutely destroyed them throughout their childhood.

So? Why not kill two birds with one stone!

Notes:

I hate everyone here
Fuck this entire cast
Literally why are they like this??? Uh disclaimer so everyone here is intended to be ABSOLUTELY THE. WORST. okkkk, so this one is WAYYYY MORE IN THE AU’S LORE THEN ANNNNYYYTHING ELSE, so, here’s some kind of run-down,
Alright, so
Murder X3 Enoshima was a kid adopted by junko after making a deal with her after the killing game they ended up stuck in - after getting disowned by their adopted mom and ending up Junko’s kid, she asked them to kill someone they never could (kill their ‘hope’ their brother, Ray Supernova) and they refused killing Junko instead,
-
They where raised to be an ultimate despair while under Junko’s care, and because of that, they NEEDED despair, and decided to round up the people who hurt them the most, and throw them all into a killing game at a twisted version of the cult-school they went too as a child,

AND EVERYONE. SUCKS. I HATE LITERALLY THIS ENTIRE CAST OK- THEY’RE ALL SEXIST HOMOPHOBIC, TRANSPHOBIC, ASSHOLLEESSS AND I HATTTEEE THEMMMM AND DO NOT SUPPORT ANY OF THE SHIT THEY SAY AND UHGHJHGJFJHFJKKDKJFDJIFJFKF

Chapter 1: Sinners gathered

Chapter Text

My memory was fuzzy,

My head was down on his desk, did I really fall asleep?

I lifted my head from my desk with a groan, there was a headache pounding in my scull, I just pushed past it, no use in complaining.

I blinked seeing the room I was in, I knew it from somewhere I just couldn’t place my finger on it, and I realized I wasn’t even on a desk to begin with.

I shot up stunned, looking around, the room was dimmed, all the lighting was pale, icey blues, I was in a library, a familiar library. There was a carpet in front of a smart board. I yelped noticing the projector wasn’t even a projector, it was a camera following my every motion

What is this???

All the books were the same, or at least I think so. There was a desk, a book rack, and a single computer, all of them had papers strewn across them, I felt tears burn in my eyes (why did I have to start crying…)

“Is this a dream?”

I blurted out loud hitting a bookshelf, a few of the books toppled out, all dark blue with one neon eye-bleeding pink word scrawled across the surface like blood.

“DESPAIR”

I let out a cry of fear, I looked at the door and - it hit me

I’d been here before

No not here, this was a twisted version of the school I went too for a year or two that one time, shit I can’t, remember the name… where I met a bunch of kids, kids and that one boy, I always found him so cool, he was angry, and always got his way, so cold and aloof.., he was a teacher's favorite too, and he was so cool he couldn’t even really talk to me, to busy hanging out with others on his level even if he was a bit mean to me,., I couldn’t help but be strangely drawn to him. a want I shouldn’t feel…

Oh and that other girl, that weird crazy one who liked dragons I ended up friends with, she hated him, hated him a lot, and he hated her too so, that was that, I was friends with both, and the girl always tried to pull me away from the boy.

Some of the other popular kids in the class would whisper to me it’s cuz she liked me, where she promptly screamed at them before getting scolded by the teachers.

She was always getting herself into trouble wasn’t she?

I blinked back to where I was - ok so I sort of knew where I was, maybe…? I swallowed a sob and wiped my tears before slowly approaching the door, I didn’t know what could be behind it, maybe a spike would hit me, and I died… no, I had to do something. I’m not just gonna sit here and cry, no I can’t do that. I took in a sharp breath and opened the door.

The hallway outside was just as I remembered the school except, different? There was a corner, on either end, not the straight hallway + staircases I remembered, and- the walls were decorated with disturbing scribbled drawings of screaming faces and hands reaching out, almost like they were trying to burst out into the real world and warn me.

I jumped with a shiver as I saw them, maybe I should heed the warning… unless maybe this was the devil telling me to stay put, I mean, no angelic warning would be so… gross. I couldn’t let the devil tempt me or… or else they’d get to me, I jumped up and ran as I realized, those were the demons reaching for my soul! The ones we were warned about time and time again, I ran through the halls, even though running in the halls was strictly against the rules, oh no, no no. Before

CRASH

I bumped right into someone, who SCREAMED. I’d shut my mouth and bit back my own yell but- this person just cried out.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, WHAT IS THIS WHO ARE YOU AAAAAAA”

The voice was high pitched, a girl then.

“I COULD ASK YOU THE SAME!”

I shouted, scrambling back up to look down on her, and looking at her.

Yeah it was a girl, with brown curly hair, that was sloppily cut to the shoulders, she had a fuzzy light blue jacket, and hazel eyes. She was kinda ugly, I blinked and tried to look angry, if she was here to hurt me…. Maybe she wasn’t?

I narrowed my eyes at the screaming girl, I couldn’t hear what she was saying I crossed my arms.

“Hey stop yelling!”

I tried to shout and grab her arm to shake her. She choked and froze looking at me.

“Who are you!?”

She shouted at me trying to scoot away.

“Uhm, my name is vincant, who are you?”

I explained wearily looking down at her

“I-i-r- rose-”

Her voice was tear filled, crying right now? When there’s someone else here? When should we be figuring this out? Seriously? How pathetic was this stupid girl? I mean I couldn’t deny the tears burning in my eyes and the choking in my own throat, but you don’t let that show!

“Ok do you- know where we are”

I awkwardly stepped away, letting her get back up.

“I- no!”

She shouted waving her arms at me, I let out a breath. Shifting to look to the side.

“Ok, uh, have you seen any others?”

I asked, swallowing tears again. She shook her head and I sighed.

“Ok so-“

Before I could finish my sentence the loudspeakers blared loudly, I jumped again but that weird girl just screamed again.

“OH MY GOSH SHUSH”

I yelled nudging her, to which she screamed louder, I growled.

“WE’RE NOT GONNA HEAR UNLESS YOU QUIET DOWN!”

I scolded nudging her a little harder, so she finally shut up enough to hear the speakers.

“HAHAHAHA! SO THAT'S EVERYONE AWAKES UwU!”

The voice, I feel like I’d heard it, but, no way.. it was high pitched and crazy, kinda stupidly “excited-evil” weird. But- still scary nonetheless- not because of the crazy tone, that would be stupid, but because it was probably the voice of the one who brought us here, how pathetic to be all laughy and crazy like that, but- hopefully it gave an answer.

“UWU, OWO, NYA X3, GET YOUR ASSES TO THE CHURCH IN THREE!”

It blasted through the school loudly, the… church? Where even was that? Before I could formulate another thought the weird crying girl let out another screech, I groaned and nudged her again.

“Come on already!?!”

I asked angrily while the girl quieted her screaming to just crying, seriously how pathetic? Well, I guess girls were supposed to be the emotional ones, but still crying at a time like this. Especially because we had to get to the church, and fast,

in three

Three minutes?

I doubt three hours but maybe

I shook my head and grabbed the crying girl's arm, I already forgot her name, who just screeched again, I grit my teeth and bit back shouting at her, so annoying and weird! I was supposed to marry one of them when I’m older?

“We’ve gotta go! Who knows what could happen if we don’t get to the Church”

I shouted, dragging her along while she cried, such. A. Crybaby. The headache pounding in my skull was made worse by her yelling. I snorted,

I didn’t know where I was going, though I was trying to remember the old school layout, I’m pretty sure the Church was a separate building right?

“W-w-we’re gonna die”

That girl choked out, I ignored her just dragging her along while I turned the corner to… another hallway, I was nervous, I didn’t know how much more time I had, the numbers on the doors where, randomized, but, there was one big door, that looked like an entrance/exit.

“J-j-just kill me-“

The girl cried and I whirled around, how pathetic! Is she trying that hard to get my attention? I mean I knew she didn’t mean it, who would actually mean that, that’s so pathetic to just have as a first response. I huffed.

“Well, something might just kill you if you don’t stop crying! So you’re just asking for it!”

I shot back approaching the door, the girl whined pathetically.

“Nonono!”

She cried and I shot a glare at her.

“Ugh, seriously stop that!”

I dropped her arm to wave my hands around. She burst out into fresh tears, I frowned while turning to open the door, my heart was pounding, my own tears threatening to spill but, I couldn’t do that, not only would it just generally be pathetic for me or anyone to cry here.

But I was a guy, and there was a crying girl on the floor next to me, I’ve gotta be the stronger one. I pushed the door open and there was air in my face again, a small courtyard, I ran out.

“Hey there’s a way outside!”

I cheered, a newfound hope filling my heart. The girl got up and rushed forwards and threw herself down onto the grass with a gasp of relief, except something was still wrong, the light, it wasn’t warm like the sun, or even soft like the moon, it was still icey blue.

“OOOOOO ONE MINUTE LEFT ON UR IPAD!!!!”

A voice called even on the outside. So we’re still stuck, the girl let out another cry of protest, and I just left her, pathetic of a guy to just leave a girl there, I mean they’re nothing without us right? I groaned and turned back around to her.

“C’mon hurry up,”

I called, before glancing to a space in between the two buildings, and as expected,,, no, there was a brick wall, possibly another building, and in front of it, a statue of a Godlike girl with her head cut off.

That couldn’t be right, how could a god be a girl? God, Jesus, they were men! Priests are men, altar servers should be boys, even though some people said otherwise, they were wrong, their souls and minds corrupted by evil.

I decided to look around the courtyard some more while that weird pathetic girl continued crying her eyes out, I looked up, there was no sky, it was just an endless void of blue, I didn’t understand how that was even possible, looking back towards the building behind us it looked just like that old school, the doorframe had two mini angels perched on it, both with their heads cut off,

This must be a demonic place…

I looked to the building in front of me, it looked almost the same but it had windows, and finally to my right, the church I think, but, the statues of angelic figures ... all with their heads cut off… The entrance, once beautifully decorated and adorned, was now messy, dirty, mossy, this was so wrong.

“Are… we in hell?”

I asked softly, I couldn’t show weakness but it was a real possibility, what did I do to deserve this??? Was I not strong enough??? The girl behind me let out another screech as the loudspeakers blared back on

“FIVEEE FIFTEEEN, SEVVVEENNNN, NINETEEEEN”

The voice started counting down random numbers and I realized it was time to go. I grabbed the wailing girl and dragged her into the door, throwing it open and running inside.

I nearly collapsed from what I saw.

The first thing that I laid eyes on was a cross, above the altar, a large cross… with a woman nailed to it, but she was real. I could see the dried blood trailing down her neck where her head was cut off. It made me want to vomit. Yet, I couldn’t see any decay to her body, she was still in perfect shape, and her shape was perfect. She couldn’t be a god and yet. She looked like one… she must be a devil. The devil, of course the devil would be a woman. Trying to tempt boys to sin with her perfect form..

The cross wasn’t all there was, the altar was adorned in gold all pristine and clean, a glorious stained glass display above it, with pink blue and purple glass and a light shining behind it, illuminating the rest of the church, There where toys and plushies with horrifically sewn smiles on all the seats of the church, and there was an open space before the altar, where a group of other kids looking around my age where all grouped together.

The girl, Ros…. whatever had shut up, eyes fixated on the cross and the women nailed to it, my eyes flickered down to the rest of the kids, some looking.., familiar? I hesitantly stepped forwards practically dragging Gio along with me as I approached..

“Oh look there’s another one!”

One of the girls in the crowd chirped, she had a wide smile, freckles and short blondish hair, with icey blue eyes. She was wearing the girls uniform for the school (I suppose I was currently at), though she’d accessorized it with a pin or two, I think I recognized her maybe?

“Oh heyyyy!!! You went to this school for a little while too!”

She asked with a wide smile, and the attention of a few others was drawn over to us before noticing Rose on the floor next to me.

“Pfft, who’s your girl? She’s so ugly, and is it just me or does she smell?”

She immediately scrutinized with a laugh, narrowing her eyes at me, softly.

“Oh, I’m sure you can get someone better than that thattt”

She said, leaning down to look me in the eyes, I smiled, she was pretty friendly, and besides. Rose has been really annoying so far.

“Haha! Yeah, she’s been really annoying,”

I said as a few others walked over to me.

“So what’s your name? I’m so sorry I forgot! We should all be introducing ourselves if we’re trapped in this terrible place shouldn’t we?”

Rose let out a somewhat annoyed noise as I stepped forwards, there were two others behind that girl, another girl with lighter-brown hair and green eyes and a sort of smug looking smile, also wearing the uniform though with slightly longer socks then the other girls, as well as a few necklaces of pink seashells and pink stars, and a bracelet or two, and my heart skipped a beat as I saw the boy.

His eyes were brown, and piercing, narrowed, with a sharp look to them, beautiful in their own odd ways, his hair was black and very short and spiked and sharp like his eyes, they complemented his eyes so well. and pretty, eyes trailing down his outfit, it was the same uniform from that school, but the way it fit him the way his tie was just a little loose around his collar, hanging down resting against his chest.

It made me warm and my heart pound,

Uhm, are these things normal to think about?

I mean, friends find each other pretty like this

It didn’t really matter, I needed to stop staring! I can’t be staring at a boy! They can’t find me staring at a boy!

“Aha! Yeah sorry!”

He looked at me disapprovingly, his look was so mesmerizing, even though it kinda hurt it set off sparks in me. Wait, these aren’t supposed to be felt! No wonder I was in hell…

“Aren’t you that kid that cried over the truth?”

He asked, giving me a blank stare, it made me shiver, why was this happening to me? I shook my head, a part of me wanted him to say it again. Why!? Why am I thinking this way!? Did the demons get me!?!?!

“Oh,,, uhm, what truth?”

I asked glancing away I couldn’t look into those mesmerizing eyes any longer or I was gonna melt, why melt?

“That you’re pathetic”

He said plainly, why was this making me feel… warm? I shook my head with an awkward laugh as some of the girls laughed with me, hey he was just joking.

“Oh Vincant!”

One of the girls cheered walking over to me, the one with brown hair, I think her name was.

“Hi again! I’m Ava!”

She took my hand for a handshake and I smiled!

“You know my name!”

I laughed, shaking her hand as she stepped back, she was taller than me and smiling, she was always friendly. Though there was always this admirable drip of smug confidence to her voice,

“Well, I’m Julia!”

The girl with blue eyes chirped, putting her hands on her hips to look confident but with a friendly smile.

“Ahaha! I’m, uh, I’m Rose! Just call me Rose!”

That annoying girl piped up, getting a few laughs from the others, deservedly so, she was weird.

“Awe, trying to make friends with us?”

Julia asked with a snicker looking down at her, she just blinked.

“Uhm,.. I mean it would be useful if we knew each other, so that, like, yknow we can work together tooooo get out!”

She said with this cartoonish pitch to her voice, it was stupid and weird, we all gave her a weird look, that’s when another girl had walked over, laughing.

“Aawwwe that’s cute, we gonna get out with the power of freindship and magic my new friend????”

Cassy, or Cassandra, cassy was her nickname, it was her! I remember her, like I really remembered her, you couldn’t forget her, top of her class, favorite with the teachers, favorite with the students, she was so kind to everyone! Priests said she’d be the perfect wife with how caring, kind and friendly she was, and she was the face of Girl Scouts. You couldn’t forget her,

She stepped forwards, towering over the rest of us with her height, she had a friendly loving smile on her face, curly brown hair that flowed down her shoulders, she had warm caramel eyes, her uniform was perfect, perfectly fit and not accessorized. She giggled, leaning down to look Rose in the eyes, who laughed nervously, glancing away.

“Oh! Uhm, what, what’re you doing?!”

She asked with a shrug, getting another giggle from the cround, she just hummed and stood back up.

“WE GOTTA, WOOORRK TOGETHER!!!!”

She mocked getting a laugh from the crowd, or just silence from a few.

“I’ll go left, you go right and, haha, you know what to do!”

She winked to us all, I couldn’t suppress my own snort of laughter, she glanced down with a grumble, which was also immediately mocked by Cassy, I slipped away from the three, before approaching him again.

“Hi! Mik- Micheal?”

I asked, he just glared at me again, I kinda liked it, he’s such a cool friend.

“Hi”

He responded plainly as I grinned,

“I’m glad I know some other kids here,”

I chirped with a sigh of relief, he just yawned.

“A bunch of kids from our old class are here”

He revealed walking away, there was another group I didn’t really recognize, I walked up to them

“Hi!”

I greeted, heads turned to me, a guy with shorter black hair and a simple green t-shirt, some kid with orange-ish hair with some sports outfit, and another girl, light brown hair green eyes, wearing a green shirt and jeans, all looking much more nervous then the people currently barraging rose.

“Hi….”

The girl with the green eyes asked shifting in her seat

“Do- you guys know where we are?”

I asked, this group was clearly uneasy, looking around to eachother, the green eyed girl shaking her head.

“No.,, I don’t, uh, my name is Lexi”

She introduced herself awkwardly, rest of the group shying away from me when I walked forwards in their circle.

“My name is vincent”

I introduced myself with a smile, hoping to seem friendly like the others I knew.

“Jasper,,”

The guy with the black hair said sharply, narrowing his eyes suspiciously.

“Yeah hi I’m Jason”

The other guy with orange hair commented with a shrug, Trying to look so cool, that was weird. I smiled, good to be introducing myself to the others, they all stayed quiet till Jason spoke up with another shrug, closing his eyes (it was almost like, stupidly cartoonish)

“Look I dono where we are, but people are sure to find us soon we’ll be fine”

He said, trying to sound calm, but there was an ever slightly present waver to his voice.

“Yeah, I bet my parents will send literally everyone in our town to find us, just watch”

I blurted out, it was a lie they probably didn’t care less about where I was right now, but they probably could if they noticed I was gone for longer then a day right? Probably, I mean people had to look and they’d probably look. Probably.

“Uhm, really?”

Lexi asked with a little huff glancing away from me.

“Yeah! Then, we can alllll go to my mansion, or one of them, and we can celebrate making it out of this weird hellish place!”

I continued to lie, my house was pretty nice of course, but I never had a mansion probably, I mean my parents probably could get one if they wanted too probably, and I’d also only invite some kids. Probably.

“You have a mansion?”

Jasper asked suspiciously.

“Yeah, no I’m like, super rich, like, I can get literally anything I wanted, I mean, my parents, have mansions everywhere and also, we have like 50 yachts, like, 100”

I never knew why I always told everyone this, it wasn’t true probably, I mean my parents probably could if they wanted probably, but I didn’t have 50 yachts probably and most people didn’t even really believe it probably, I mean some kids did, but not most.

Probably

“Yeah right,”

He huffed, I laughed, yeah he didn’t believe me. It was fine.

“Oh hi guys!”

Another boy bounced up to us. Short messy black hair, a short sleeved grayish green shirt, and black shorts, with greenish blue eyes, his appearance was weird and messy, hm.

“I’m Simon”

He introduced with a weird giggle, he seemed really pathetic.

“Oh it’s… you”

Lexi asked, narrowing her eyes, getting a gasp from the guy, who pointed at her and… growled?

“Grrrrr get away from me”

He snarled before running off, what the hell??? He was so weird. Growling at people? Excuse me? I blinked, weirded out, turning to Lexi.

“Ugh, I knew him, he’s so…”

She started.

“Weird gross and pathetic?”

I finished for her, getting her to bark a laugh with a nod.

After a moment, another girl with the old-school uniform on bounced over, with another boy with the uniform on walked over by her side.

“Heyyyy! Vincant!”

Oh I knew her! Alice! She was one of the popular kids in our school too! I smiled.

“Alice right!”

I asked, smiling to her, she nodded, oh and the boy beside her, I feel like I knew him? But I wasn’t sure.

“Oh, yeah I’m Kevin”

He introduced himself, I smiled as a 3rd kid who also stumbled over.

“Hiii…”

He asked, as he slowly stepped up to us with a wave, he had short brown hair and hazel eyes, a simple green t-shirt and shorts, not too put together, looking like that weird other kid. I glared at him for a second.

“I'm Johnny…”

He muttered glancing away from us, Alice giggled.

“Well hi there! Wanna be friends???”

She mocked Johnny tilted his head as Alice laughed and walked off.

“So, is that everyone?”

Lexi asked, looking at everyone, the girls popular at the old school had already clicked together in a group near the seats, talking and laughing and looking around. That weird boy who growled at us before was staring at them, particularly the tallest in the group. Cassy. He wasn’t looking at her eyes though.

Ugh, disgraceful.

I sighed and slowly backed up to the seats of the church, the weird plushies that adorned them, my heart was pounding at I reached a hand out, before smacking a plushie aside, it toppled off the seats and hit the ground without a sound, I felt a chill trail down my spine, it was too quiet, but I couldn’t be a coward, so I slowly took a seat among the plushies. I sat stiffly, nothing was happening I’d be fine- right? I continued sitting there and eventually he stepped forwards again throwing a few plushies off carelessly and sat next to me like it was nothing. I froze staring at him again.

“Hello?”

He asked with a huff, I felt my face heat up, why???? He was a boy? God no WONDER I WAS IN HELL. It was wrong, I just needed to deny the temptation.

“H- hi! Sorry”

I apologized no no why was I apologizing that would be so pathetic to him??? He just snickered and continued looking at the altar. I was trying to push the feelings of excitement down. It wasn’t right.

I briefly caught Rose trying to walk away from the girls berrading her, walking over to Lexi who looked at her weird but talked with her pretty comfortably. I yawned, I felt pretty exhausted to be honest. I wished I was back home in my comfy mattress under the covers, but no… apparently not. I sighed and leaned my head down. I could briefly hear some fighting. Where the hell could we even be? In hell? I was thinking until being harshly ripped from my thoughts by a loud somewhat annoying voice.

“YEPP THAT SHOULD BE EVERYONE!!!!!”

The same voice from the loudspeakers cheered, except it was much clearer, I immediately felt a dread shoot through my heart and I shot up, the voice was coming from the altar… I swallowed as the group gathered, even Micheal stood up to stand next to me, I swear looking up at him my breath caught in my throat no matter what it—

“NYA~ NOW YOU’RE HERE!!!”

The voice chirped as suddenly a plush-like fox hopped up on the altar

Its face was split black and white, it had sharp purple eyes and pink and blue stars on its ears, tips of which were black/white contrasting whatever side of the fur the ear was. Had a tuft of fur sewn together sloppily, pink/blue. And it was plush… the exterior looked so soft, like you could just reach over and snuggle it, yet it moved like a living organism. I froze. Its voice was so high pitched, almost mocking in nature, yet so… weirdly pathetic, it spoke like it was some evil supervillain in a cartoon.

“HAII, SO, WELCOME TO DESPAIRS PEAK!!! PRETTTTYYYY BORING OBVIOUS GOOFY NAME OF MINE I KNOWWWWWW”

It laughed, Despairs Peak? Despair, what was with this school and the word despair, from the way it was scrawled over book covers, and everything.., ‘obvious?’ What was obvious about it? What was this thing talking about?

“HOW- WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU-“

A voice shouted from the crowd, seemingly a guy's voice, that was a question one of the girls would cry out? wasn’t it? Weird, the people here are so weird.

“RELAXXXX, I'M YOUR PRINCIPAL!”

It called with another giggled as it hopped up sitting on the edge of the altar table to look down at us with that irritatingly large smile.

“OUR PRINCIPAL???”

A girl screeched out fearfully, its head rotated unnaturally towards the voice, before it giggled and hopped up, so many of its movements where scarily organic, not puppet not animatronic…

“YEP!”

It chirped, thrashing its black, white, pink and blue tail to the side.

“B- BUT HOW IS THAT EVEN—“

Someone asked again

“Possible? Hmmm, I dono,”

It shrugged, giggling and doing a flip on its table. Disgusting. So careless in a place of god… I glanced back at the women on the cross… no. This wasn’t a place of god… this was a place of… hell?

“ANYYYWWWAAAYYYSSS, YALL ARE TRAPPED HERE! HAHA GET FUCKED!!! Actually don’t get fucked, I don’t wanna have to watch you guys have sex its gross, your probably not good at it anyways, OH YEAH YOUR ALSO ALLLLWAAYYS BEING WATCHED!!! CAMRAS EVEERRRYYYWHERE!!!!”

It cheered, glaring at Lexi for some reason… I felt a wave of disgust wash over me, we can’t have sex yet! It’s not allowed! Guys are supposed to wait until we find a girl to marry, right? Ugh the fact they even just speak of this kind of disgusting behavior in a place like…

Seeing the woman nailed to the cross…

This wasn't a church…

It was hell…

Someone stepped forwards right in front of the altar. Julia…? Julia stepped forwards, glaring at the plush intently.

“YOU CAN'T DO THIS!!! YOU CAN'T JUST TRAP US HERE!!!!!”

She cried out to the plush, why was a girl standing up to it? Shouldn’t it be a guy? I shook my head, was that something to worry about? I didn’t know what to do- I should I’m a guy.

“I caaaannnttt~ aweee~ I think I can~~~”

It chirped back, with a little giggle, narrowing its eyes to be half lidded mockingly- wait, was it a girl? Or a boy? Either way that was… disgusting. If it was a girl it couldn’t do that to another girl! And a boy? Ugh. This entire place was… that thing had to be the devil.

“NO! YOU DEMON. I AM A LOYAL FOLLOWER OF-“

Julia called out, putting one hand on her hip and pointing to the grinning plushie as it interrupted her.

“YAP YAP YAP YAPYAP, I don’t care about that god Jesus bullshit,”

It said snarkily, causing the girl to jump back angrily for a moment.

“absolutely NO ONE CAN SAVE YOU!!!! Well, I mean there's a way out!”

My heart spiked, a way to escape? I’d do anything to escape this hellish place-  no I’d do anything to escape hell itself. But- knowing this thing. There’s no way it would be anything holy…

“WHATEVER YOU TRY TO MAKE US DO DEMON! WE’LL ALL FOLLOW THE LORD-“

She screamed out at the plushie, it just burst out into laughter while she was speaking the truth. This demon—

“I'M YOUR GOD NOW.”

It shouted loudly, holding up a chalice. Everyone froze. No no no no. That wasn’t right, that wasn’t right! That who considered himself a god- It kept laughing at our fear,.. the girl spoke up again.

“NO. YOU’LL NEVER BE OUR GOD.”

She screamed pointing to this demonic plushie, the rest of the class had frozen, nobody dared to even breathe too loudly at this point. While Julia challenged it. She… she was standing up for what was right… unlike us cowards huh…

“I am. I have total control over your lives here!”

The plushie said smugly, unable to contain its giggles and laughs.

“NO- IF WE HAVE GOD ON OUR SIDE—“

As Alice spoke, suddenly spears shot out of the floor where she stood impaling her through her torso and chest, hot pink blood burst out of her body where the spears impaled, dripping down and pooling beneath her. Blood started to pour from her mouth the longer she stood frozen, strangling and choking.

“Your little delusions can’t save you now can they,”

The plush chirped as smoke suddenly shot out from behind it, swirling and clawing its way over to them. We. Where. Frozen. Nobody could move, all eyes glued to the girl, twitching as her body shut down. Making strangled cries and chokes of pain and struggle, legs shaking for all the wrong reasons. Crying out for help yet nobody moved to save her…

“H-he-h-a-oh-oh god-for-forgive-m—“

She choked out as her body collapsed into the spears, twitching, convulsing on the ground. Still choking, dying slowly… painfully… despairingly…? I looked up. I could feel my face growing cold and clammy, as I hadn’t taken a breath since the whole ordeal started.

A silhouette stepped out, purple eyes, two pigtails? I couldn’t make out any features, looking it up and down, I could, faintly make out the shape of the chest? Of course it would be a girl…

“Hehe! Just remember! I’m in control here”

It said, the plush had shut down… meaning this girl was in control of it, she snorted and leaned over the alter, taking the chalice from its plush paws leaning over again, she hid herself well.

I gasped and felt bile rise in my throat as I saw her carelessly tug Alice’s hair up, leaning the chalice over the gaping wound in her torso and filling the cup up with her blood. Before throwing her back down as if she wasn’t a person but a ragdoll. Like she didn’t have a life, a home, a family, emotions, wants, needs, hopes, goals, they just… snuffed it out like it was nothing and was now-

She took the chalice to her lips and drank it. I swallowed back the vomit threatening to spill with a gag, some others had started to back up but nobody dared scream. Not yet anyways…

She pulled the chalice away from her lips with a chuckle.

“Tastes salty! I loveeee salt!”

She chirped. Opening her eyes. All I could see where her eyes. They where striking, immediately grabbing your attention and pulling your focus on them. Complex layered swirling shades of purple shifting and focusing under a light purple coat, and a dark purple shadow. So many contradictions all pact into the gaze, soft gradients to violent hypnotic swirling shadows, the type of thing you could get stuck in and never manage to pull yourself out of. Layers upon layers of purple all stacked onto one another, deeper you go,.. he didn’t even know anymore…

“So lemme lay some ground rules”

She stepped back, sitting on the altar and crossing her legs with a giggle, I still couldn’t make out any features somehow.

“Rule one - feel free to explore wherever you’d like! But don’t enter the main office or the security room!”

She started tilting her head and resting it on her palm. I could hear my heart pounding in my ears in my head-

“Actually fuck it, ya’ll have lil tablets on you, you can look at those boring rules later!”

My vision was splitting.

“Anyways, so, there is a way out”

All of my attention snapped to her again. I couldn't, I couldn't, I had too. A girl just got MURDERED in front of me- this is hell this MUST be hell this must be this-

“It’s pretty simple, actually, kill someone! And don’t get caught!”
