**12:48am in Layla's and Maddox’s cabin, early fall**
LAYLA'S POV
I wake up and check my watch to see what time it is. 12:48... my cheeks flush bright red as I remember what I had just been dreaming about. I glance over to where Maddox is, he’s sleeping… I contemplate what I should do for a few minutes. I could either try and go back to sleep without giving myself any pleasure or try to be as quiet as I can... I go with the second option.
