Work Text:
Shouta disliked many things. And many someones. He disliked many people because he deemed them incompetent and occasionally stupid. Surprisingly, most of these people were adults.
Contrary to belief, Shouta tolerated children more than adults. One of the many reasons why he became a teacher is because he knew he wasn’t able to tolerate adults that think they know better than him. Kids listen. Well, most of them do.
But they respected him enough to understand what they should and should not do. Unlike the idiot in front of him. Shouta can already feel a headache forming as he stared at Yagi’s sheepish face, an awkward grin placed on his lips.
“No.”
“Now Aizawa, it's really not that big of a deal.” He’s still talking. Shouta wants to go home. He wants to go home and cuddle with his son and sleep.
“Yagi. I said no. We had this conversation before. You’re not going to train my kid. Mainly because you have no fucking idea what you’re doing.” He stated harshly, rolling his eyes at the splutter that the blonde let out.
Absolutely not. Izuku has been doing well for the past few months, thriving really. Because Shouta made sure that actual teachers, such as Hizashi, help him control his quirk. They have training sessions twice a week, and since Hizashi lives close to them, Izuku had him available almost all the time.
But for the past few days, Yagi, the reason his baby keeps breaking his bones, has been pestering him about resuming his training with Izuku, and his role as a mentor. This is why Shouta hates adults.
After Izuku told him all about One for All, Shouta had a very . . . enlightening conversation with both Yagi and Nedzu. One that involved a lot of screaming (at the principal) and punches and fists headed to the skinny blonde. Many threats were made as well. And Shouta assumed that it would be enough to remove the stupid blonde from his baby’s life.
“We’re not having this conversation again.” He said bluntly, ignoring the defeated look on Yagi’s face. Shouta glared at him as he headed to his class, a bunch of hellions really, and subtly flipped him off without any of the students seeing him.
He entered his hell class, eyes twitching at the sheer loud volume coming from an explosive blonde, his yelling directed at the class’ resident ice prince, Todoroki.
“Oi, hell class. Settle down.” He ordered, eyes travelling to his kid, who breathed out in relief at the sound of his dad’s voice. Shouta raised an eyebrow at the full bottle of water on his desk, only to shake his head when the kid flushed red, and took a big sip with sheepish eyes.
He started his lesson, glancing at his kid every once in a while. He wasn’t supposed to have favourites, but can you blame him? His kid is adorable, and Shouta finds himself sometimes trying to comprehend that this perfect crybaby is his. The underground hero knew that it was only a matter of time before his hell class realized that their favorite boy was in fact adopted by their homeroom teacher. He doesn’t care. Shouta smirked in relief once the bell rang, signalling an end to the day as his brats started heading out of the room,
“C’mere, bud.” He said, once the group of brats left the class, leaving him and his problem child alone. Arms opening, his problem child stepped into his embrace and relaxed, any remnants of the tension that was there before disappearing.
“Rough day, hun?” Shouta chuckled, pecking the forest green hair as his kid whined in response.
“Let's get you home, bud” The man murmured, guiding his kid to the car.
“I don’t feel so good.” Izuku mumbled when they entered the house, his eyes half-closed as his dad placed a hand on his forehead.
“You don’t have a fever. Does your stomach hurt, darling?” Shouta asked, eyebrows furrowed as the kid slumped on the couch.
“Just a little.” The man hummed, placing a blanket on top of the boy, kissing him on the forehead before leaving to bring a hot water bottle, and put it over the boy’s stomach.
Shouta smiled when he heard the sigh of relief coming from his kid, rubbing the top of his head softly.
“I am gonna get started on dinner, yeah? Just rest until then, baby.” Shouta whispered, placing a soft kiss on his son’s nose.
“Thanks Da’.”
