Chapter Text

As I daydream at my art studio standing at my easel, I'm wrapped in a white light, and I’m transported to the middle of the common rooms at UA. Everyone in the common room looks at me, shocked that a random person just appeared out of nowhere. I glance around at the familiar room, eyes widening when I realize where I am and see a bunch of fictional characters staring at me.

"What the fuck?"

Several people immediately get into a fighting stance, powering up their quirks.

My hands shoot up to the sides of my head in a universal sign of peace. "Woah! At ease! I'm not gonna do anything!" I pause, baffled by the Japanese coming from my mouth, fully expecting English.

They don’t let their guard down, just continue staring at me.

"Holy shit. Um... okay. Sorry for dropping in suddenly, but I just got isekai'd."

They’re clearly confused. "You got what?" asks Kirishima, his hands still hardened.

“Isekai’d. Ya know, a supposedly fictional verb that means to hop from your real universe to one in a fandom,” I say, hoping they’ll understand the term.

They’re even more confused, until Mina’s eyes widen in realization and she points at me, vibrating with excitement and awe. "You're from a different universe!"

“No shit,” I remark, sighing in relief when they let go of their fighting stances. My hands drop to my sides.

Kaminari chuckles, “Damn, that's so cool!"

A few other students begin talking amongst themselves, curious about me. Bakugo walks up to me, a glare on his face.

“Wow, you're stunning,” I breathe in awe.
He scoffs, clearly annoyed.

I grin and he glares even more. “What're you smiling about, huh?"

“You're my favorite character,” I admit.

Bakugo's eyes widen in shock. "The hell you mean by that?"

“In my world this is just a manga and an anime. You’re all fictional.”

He looks at me like I’m crazy. "A manga? You're telling me l'm just some cartoon character to you?!"

“You were.”

He growls, annoyed by the fact that I see him as a fictional character. "Was? What do you mean 'was'? I'm standing right in front of you, damn it!"

“Exactly. Thats why I used past tense, dipshit.

He grabs me by the collar of my hoodie, looking like he's about to punch me. "Watch your mouth, smartass."

“Careful. I bite.”

He grits his teeth in irritation, "Bite me, then. I dare you."

I lunge at him, sinking my teeth into his neck.
Bakugo grunts in pain and lets go of my collar, stumbling back as he clutches his neck.

"You little-!" Bakugo stares at me in disbelief. "You actually bit me! The hell is wrong with you?!"

I lick the little bits of blood off my lips. “You want that list alphabetically or...”

Bakugo growls and tackles me to the ground.

“Eep!” He pins me to the ground, his knee digging into my stomach.

"Got you now, you annoying little-!"

“Oi! Don't bring my height, or lack there of into this! I’m 4’9’’ damn it. I might not be tall enough to punch your face but I’ll jump and make you bite your own tongue off.”

Bakugo grins. “Oh, so you're short and a spitfire. Perfect combination."

“I’ll have you know, I'm chaos sized and I'm a ray of pitch black.”

He looks me up and down. "A little ball of chaos, huh? Guess that makes you a brat."

“Are we flirting or fighting, because I'm kinda getting mixed signals here,” I ask, genuinely curious.

He smirks, "Maybe a little of both. Which do you prefer, half-pint?"

I smirk. "A little of both."

Bakugo chuckles, keeping me pinned down beneath him, "Glad we're on the same page."
He stands up and we sit on the couch, the rest of his friends gathered around.

Kirishima and Kaminari are chuckling, the other boys watching in slight shock. Mina and Jirou giggle and whisper to each other. Sero grins and nudges Kirishima, who grins back at him. Mina looks at me and gives me a smirk while Kirishima laughs and slings an arm around my shoulder.

"She's a little feisty one, isn't she?" He teasingly asks the blond.

“Rawr, bitch” I deadpan.

Everyone laughs at my response, and even Bakugo has to hold back a chuckle.

Mina giggles even more "I like you already! So, what's your name, feisty girl?"

“Livi.”

Mina smiles. "Livi, huh? That's a cute name for such a feisty little thing.”

“I'm a tiny terror.”

Sero grins, "A tiny terror with bite, huh? You've got spunk, I'll give you that."

Without thinking I reply with: “No spunk. I got slick, not dick.”

Bakugo chokes on air and starts coughing. The other boys try to hold back their laughter as well, but they're failing miserably. Mina and Jirou burst out laughing, Kirishima and Kaminari falling to the floor from laughter.

Bakugo, trying to regain his composure, looks down at me from my spot next to him. "You're a goddamn menace, you know that?"

“Yup.”

He shakes his head, a small smirk on his face. "You're going to be a pain in my ass, aren't you?"

“I hope you’re a masochist.”

Bakugo's eyes widen, clearly not expecting that response. The others all start laughing even harder as he looks away, trying to hide the fact that his face is a little red. "You- I can't-" He sputters, unable to form a coherent sentence.

Kirishima, who's still on the floor, wipes a tear from his eye. "Damn, I didn't know Bakugo could be rendered speechless."

“What? I match energy. I can match his remarks blow for blow.”

Sero and Kaminari are holding their stomachs, still laughing hysterically, "I'm dying, I'm dying right now!”

Mina and Jirou high five each other, both grinning from ear to ear. Bakugo growls.
The other boys slowly start to recover, wiping tears from their eyes and gasping for breath.

Kirishima sits up, a wide smile still on his face
"I'm gonna have to keep you around, you're a riot"

“Sorry red, I'm sticking with pretty boy,” I respond, leaning against Bakugo.

Kirishima feigns offense, "Ouch, I'm hurt. You'd ditch me for the hothead?"

“Yup,” I admit without hesitation.

Bakugo, who had recovered from his embarrassment, looks down at me with a raised eyebrow. "Damn, I didn't realize I was so popular."

“I told you before, you're my favorite character.”

"Tch, of course I am. I'm the best after all,” he preens.

“Damn right. Every year since the manga came out, you’ve won the popularity polls by an insane amount. Fourteen years straight.”

Kirishima blinks, looking shocked. "Wait, seriously? You're telling me he's won the popularity polls for fourteen years straight?!"

I nod.

The others all look equally shocked
"Damn, he really is a fan favorite,” Kaminari mumbles.

"Mhm. Oh, speaking of..." I take off my black hoodie to reveal a Ground Zero tank top, black with an orange bleach design of his hero costume. Intricate zentangles surround the design in a badass illusion. The boys freeze, their eyes glued to the tank top.

Kirishima quickly covers his eyes, his face turning red. "OH GOD"

“Woah, what garnered that reaction?”

Kaminari and Sero look at me, their eyes wide.
"You're trying to kill us, aren't you?" Kaminari asks, clutching a bloody nose.

“No?”

Mina chuckles, "I don't know, you look like you're trying to kill them with your looks alone."

I tilt my head in curiosity.

Bakugo huffs. "You just reveal that outfit and expect us not to react? You're crazy."

“It's a tank top.”

Kaminari peeks through his fingers, “Yeah, a tank top that shows off way too much of your..assets." He lets out a nervous laugh. "This might be normal for you, but we're not used to seeing someone as...well endowed as you walking around like that, well, except for Momo.”

I flush, quickly wrapping my arms around myself.

Bakugo snickers, "Damn, you're sensitive. Can't even handle a little teasing?" He smirks, clearly enjoying my reaction. "What, did you think you could show off your chest like that and we wouldn't get a little flustered?"

“I'm not, I-“ I sputter.

He leans closer, a smug look on his face, "Then why are you hiding your body under that hoodie now, huh?"

I huff, “Because I don't like how I look, not everyone has the body of Adonis.”

Bakugo raises an eyebrow, "You don't like how you look? Bullshit. You looked damn fine in that tank top. Plus, you made it AND it’s got my hero costume design on it.” I shake my head and he grabs my chin, forcing me to look up at him. "You look good, I know what I'm talking about.”

“I have thick thighs and puppy fat on my belly, I know what I look like. I'm fat, even if I am curvy.”

Bakugo rolls his eyes "You're not fat. Your thighs are thick and your belly has some pudge, big deal. You're still curvy as hell and you look hot as shit in that tank top. Plus, you’ve got a bigger chest than Ponytail.” He smirks, seeing the blush on my face. His hand moves from my chin to my waist, his fingers gently gripping the curve of my hip.

“Yeah, but I'm an artist, so I don't exercise much and I can't even jog or run because my chest is too big and it hurts.”

He snorts. "Damn, I guess that would make it a bit difficult to exercise, wouldn't it?" He chuckles, his hand still resting on my hip. "Guess you can't run without those damn things bouncing all over the place, huh?"

I groan. “It fuckin sucks!”

He laughs, clearly enjoying this conversation
Bakugo: "I bet. But it's a damn good view for everyone else, I'll give you that.”

I curl up on the couch and he snickers again, letting go of my hip, his arm casually resting on the back of the couch behind me. He watches me for a moment, his eyes roaming over my body. He rolls his eyes, amused by my attempt to hide myself. “Are you trying to cover up now, princess?" He grabs the pillow, yanking it away from me.

I instinctively hiss at him and grab someone's black hoodie from the back of the couch, now wearing the larger one that swaths my form... and happens to be Bakugo’s.

His eyes widen as I put on his hoodie, a mixture of surprise and irritation on his face. "Oi, that's my hoodie, you know.”

I nuzzle into the collar of it. "Mine now.”

He grumbles under his breath, clearly annoyed that I’m wearing his hoodie, but also secretly enjoying how I’m snuggling into it. He crosses his arms, watching me nuzzle into the fabric. "Tch. Princess."

I flip him off.

He rolls his eyes again, still annoyed but also secretly amused by how cute I look in his hoodie.

Mina giggles. "Damn, you look like a little kid in that thing. It's too big for you.”

“‘M Comfy. It smells like Carmel,” I mumble into the collar of the fabric.

Kirishima snorts, unable to hide a smile at my comment. "Of course you're comfy.
You're practically drowning in that thing.”

Kaminari nods. "You look cute like this, all small and vulnerable in Bakugo’s hoodie."

“Not vulnerable…” I mutter.

He chuckles, clearly amused by my defiance. "Oh really? Then what would you call it? Comfortable? Helpless?"

“Cozy.”

Bakugo hums in agreement, gripping my chin as he leans closer. “That's what I thought. You're completely at my mercy like this, princess. All wrapped up in my hoodie and too small to do anything.”

“I can do plenty,” I protest.

He raises an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Oh yeah? And what exactly do you plan on doing, princess? You're tiny, you're no match for me."

“Rawr!” I yell playfully, mimicking claws with my hands.

He laughs, clearly amused by my attempt to be intimidating "Rawr? Is that the best you can do, princess? You sound like a kitten.”

I smirk and everyone’s eyes widen in surprise as I let out a deep, dragon-like growl.

"What the… Did you just purr like a dragon?" Jirou asks, grinning.

I nod.

Bakugo blinks, his grip on my chin loosening slightly as he processes what just happened.
"That... wasn't supposed to be hot, princess. Why the hell is it so damn hot?"

I sputter and glance around at his friends.
The others look over at me and Bakugo, having heard the noise. They look equally surprised and amused.

Kirishima lets out a low whistle. "Damn, Livi, you've got some lungs on you!"

I shrug a shoulder shyly.

Mina squeals in excitement, "That was adorable! Can you do it again?"

“What?”

Kaminari grins. "Yeah, do it again! We want to hear the dragon princess purr!"

My face goes red. “D-dragon princess purr?”

Sero snickers. "That's what we're calling you now, princess."

I blush, but I do another dragon rumble, the deep baritone sound reverberates through the room. The others listen in awe, their eyes wide.

Kirishima's eyes sparkle with excitement. "Woah, that's even better than before!"

“You don't think it's weird that I can do this stuff?” I ask.

Kaminari shakes his head vigorously. "Weird? Hell no! That's the coolest thing ever!"

I huff a laugh of disbelief. They all look like they’re about to lose their damn minds.

Kirishima nods in agreement. “Seriously, l've never heard anyone do something like that before! It's like you're a freaking dragon or something!"

“I'm really glad you don't mind it.”

Mina grins and pats my head. "Of course we don't mind, silly! It's super cool and badass!"

“If only you guys were around when I was younger. I actually got bullied really bad in school because of the weird sounds I can make and voices I can mimic.”

The mood in the room instantly shifts, and the smiles on their faces fade.

"You... you were bullied for it?" Kirishima asks.

“Yeah, all through elementary, and middle school. At high school, I just ran out of fucks to give.” I shrug, having lived with it my whole life.

Kaminari clenches his fists, anger clear on his face. "What kind of idiots would bully you for something like that? That's messed up..."

I nod. “Exactly that: idiots.”

Bakugo scowls, his expression darkening. "Tch, those damn extras don't know what they're missing out on. They should be lucky to have a princess like you around."

I chuckle. “I appreciate the kind words, but I ain't a princess!”

Bakugo smirks and ruffles my hair, "Oh, but you are, princess. You're a little dragon princess."

I deadpan.

Kirishima and the others burst out laughing at my expression.

Kaminari snickers, "Don't be so serious, princess. Embrace your inner dragon and let loose!"

I sigh. “I'm not gonna live that down anytime soon, am I?”

The others all shake their heads.

"Nope, we're never letting you forget it, princess,” Sero grins.

I groan.

Bakugo grins and wraps an arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him. "Looks like you're stuck with us calling you 'princess' forever, princess."

I roll my eyes with a small smile and lean against him. Bakugo smirks and rests his chin on top of my head, holding me close to him. The others watch with amused expressions, clearly enjoying the sight of the two of us together. Something clatters to the floor and I reach down to pick up my phone from my universe. It turns on. “Holy shit, it still works!”

The others look at your phone in surprise, their eyes widening.

"Whoa, how the hell is that thing working? Didn't you get transported into another universe?" Kirishima’s face full of confusion.

“Yeah, but I had it in my pocket when I got isekai’d.”

Bakugo leans over my shoulder, peering at my phone with curiosity. "What the hell kind of technology do you have in your world to make that thing work in another universe?"

I shrug. “I guess it works because there’s internet connection. Science is still science after all.”

Kaminari smirks, “Can I look through your pictures? I'm sure you have some embarrassing stuff on there."

“I don't have anything embarrassing,” I admit.

Kaminari raises an eyebrow skeptically. "Everyone has something embarrassing on their phone. Come on, just let me take a peek."

“Later. I need to go meet with principal Nezu now.”

Kaminari's eyes light up with excitement “Yes! Thanks, princess!"

“Yeah yeah. I'll be back in an hour or so.” The others watch as I leave. As soon as the door closes, the class group chat erupts with the news of my isekai situation.
