Work Text:
When Buck wakes up, he's alone in bed. Just like he's been every morning for the past year.
He's not supposed to be alone. Not this time.
Eddie's supposed to be here with him, right where he was when they finally fell asleep last night.
Buck reaches for Eddie anyway, his hand falling on cold sheets.
"Over here," says Eddie softly.
"You stayed." This time Buck finds Eddie immediately. He's leaning against the door frame with the dopiest grin on his face.
"As long as you'll let me," Eddie promises, settling back in bed with Buck.
Right where he belongs.
