The rain was heavy that night. Had it been light and gently falling towards the ground, it would have been a lovely and calm evening.
Except the rain was being dumped all over the place, loudly hitting the windows with the force of a violent dinosaur’s axe.
K_K was laying on his bed, headphones in and chilling out, the rain in the background.
He suddenly heard his phone buzz. He opened the message, seeing it was from Rouxls.
“can u come over? it is. rainy”
K_K chuckled at his boyfriend’s text.
“sure, ill comr over :)”
He pulled himself off the bed, getting his bag and ready to head to the castle.
“Where are you going?” he heard Sweet ask.
“I’m just visiting Rouxls real quick, don’t worry!” K_K smiled reassuringly.
Sweet hugged him, before pulling away. “Just come back soon, alright?”
“Alright, Sweetie!” he teased, giggling as they pouted and stomped back to their room.
K_K walked out, reaching the castle in just a few minutes. He looked at the door. He had to wonder, why had Rouxls texted him? The rain was nice, and it was always fun to be alone in your room, so why did he want him there?
He shrugged while opening the door. If his boyfriend wanted him there, then he would make sure to be there!
K_K had been in Rouxls’ room a lot, watching intently as he showed him his bugs. He didn’t like the creepy little guys, but they were beginning to grow on him. He even held a worm in his hands! Granted, he was practically ready to die on the spot, but he managed.
He got to the floor the room was on, spotting it to the right.
He knocked on the door.
“Hey, Rouxls! I’m here!” K_K said cheerfully.
He heard the door unlock with a click, twisting the doorknob and stepping inside.
He nearly fell over as Rouxls pounced on him for a hug.
“You really wanted me to be here, huh?” he chuckled.
“The raine is very loudeth, and I felteth it would be most gracious of me to blesseth thou with my presence.”
“Plus,” he added, “This downpoureth is bothering me.”
K_K smiled. “Well, I’m happy to spend time with you!” he said, holding Rouxls like a prized stuffed animal.
“You wanna tell me about that worm you found earlier?”
Rouxls’ eyes lit up. “Ah yes, Sir Wormsalot, righteth?”
“I hath been feeding him, and he has befriendedeth the others.” he rambled.
They got tired, and eventually fell asleep, curled on the bed together. There might be rain sometimes, but at least they have each other.
