The first time Viktor experiments with the Hexcore, after his argument with Jayce on the bridge, his entire body transforms into that of the final form of the Arcane Herald. Jayce has vanished mysteriously and Viktor is left on his own to manage his new form and incredible powers, especially his new ability to heal.
Viktor dreams of Jayce in a strange and destroyed reality and helps Jayce as much as he can to escape. But all magic has a price and a mysterious figure lurks in the background, changing things to his own whim, leaving Viktor and Jayce unsure about what that person's plan is for them, how it will all end, and if they will be together when it happens.
