Work Text:
"You okay?" Eddie's voice drags you back to him, on his lap, his mouth is gentle on your neck. He looks up at you, his hands on your waist, they haven't moved. He always seems to wait until you give him the okay, unconsciously.
"Yeah I'm alright. The lights just hurting my head a little bit." You had a migraine a few days ago so the excuse isn't necessarily far off. Eddie looks you over for a moment, a flash of worry in his eyes, one hands cups your cheek gently and he leans up to kiss your forehead.
“Do you wanna lay down?” He asks running his hands up and down your sides.
"No I..I'm okay. Can we uhm, can we just turn the light off?" Instead of sliding off him to let him get up, you bury your face in his neck attempting to be closer to him. His hands continue running up and down your side. His stubble tickles your neck as he turns his face toward you.
"Baby you gotta get up if you want the light out." He says, his hand moving from your waist to your arm, drawing soft circles on your wrist.
You shake you head tightening your hold on him and he laughs. The bastard.
But then hes moving. You stifle a shriek as he lifts himself and you off the bed and flicking the switch to the light. He sets you down on the bed so gently you could've been made of glass. When his hands reach the hem of your shirt again you nod but realizing he likely couldn't see the motion. When he asks if its okay you nod again and see the brief shake of his head. "Words my sweet girl." He says, "I need to know your still with me."
"Stop that," You laugh, guiding his hands to your pajama shirt.
"Stop what?" Warm hands meet your skin as the fabric slides up over your head.
"Knowing me, loving me, being so gentle with me." The words spill out before you can stop them. Unable to see in the dark of the room you don't notice Eddie's moved closer to your neck pressing soft kisses on your jaw and one to your temple.
"You can't tell me to stop when you make it as easy as breathing." He kisses you then, with his hand cupping your jaw as if you’ll break in his hands. He’s always warm against you, both your boys are, and the pressure of his body against your own helps your mind calm down enough to melt into him without anxiety gnawing at your brain.
Eddie pulls away just slightly, a huff of a breath leaves him as he stifles a laugh when you chase his lips for another quick kiss. “I love you.” you whisper kissing him again. Your hands trace over the features you can see just barely in the dark not noticing him doing the same.
“You’re so beautiful, I love you so much spark.”
You stayed like that for awhile, exchanging gentle kisses while hands traveled wherever they could reach.
It’s some time before he speaks again, “Can I..?” His sentence goes unfinished when you nod, let out a small “Mhm,” and kiss him again needing to be as close as possible even now.
In the back of your mind you think about how quickly he was able to slide his pants off before sliding down your own. His mouth trailed kisses down your stomach whispering sweet words you could barely catch.
"My baby." He says kissing back up your body until he's hovering back over you. "My sweet girl."
Its soft and sweet.
Later after he's tucked you into him and you fall asleep curled into his chest with a blanket tight around your shoulders the door to their room opens and shuts as quietly as possible. Volt slips into bed beside your sleeping form, his hair lighting up the dark of the room.
"Hi my loves." He says softly, kissing your temple, he then leans over and does the same to Eddie. Both of them are always careful not to wake you.
Eddie looks over at him, "Where'd you go off to anyway? We missed you." He asks. Volt shakes his head. "Just found some issues backstage, quick fix nothing to worry about. I'll show you in the morning"Volt says looking between both his loves.
When you shift in your sleep both of their eyes fly to you, but as if feeling Volt there unconsciously your hand simply reaches for his shirt before going still once again.
Comfortable silence falls over the room, until Eddie breaks it, speaking softly with his hand in your hair. “You know you are one of the best things that ever happened to me? I don’t know where I’d be without you Volt.” He says.
“You don’t even know how adored you are do you?” Volt reach’s over and brushes his thumb over Eddie’s cheek. “Now get some sleep.”
It’s been about four days since that night. You’re sat in the club again, curled up in your booth, the one you’ve always wound up in unless you hide at the bar and keep Eddie distracted. Tonight however, Volt had convinced you to stay put in your booth. You like that it's secluded enough from others that on nights when you don't feel so much like interacting with others you don't have to. You can just hide.
You don't feel like hiding tonight, and Volt never fails to shower you in his attentions when he slides into your booth pretending to check on you. His fingers brush your spine as he passes you for the third time tonight. He takes a quick lap checking on the other patrons before he slides into your booth midway through Amir's knife throwing act.
“My darling you look stunning this evening.” He kisses the side of your head, his hand traces circles on your inner thigh.
"Don't be silly, I wear this everyday V." You say sipping your drink as his lips trail down to your shoulder.
"And you look just as beautiful every time I see you." He takes the cup from your hands, swiftly stealing a sip of your drink before setting it back down.
You glance at the now empty glass in front of you, "You stole my drink."
His grin may as well brighten the room. "Then you've nothing to take your attention from where it belongs, don't you live wire?"
So that's the game he's playing tonight.
"Eddie didn't play into your game?"
You could pretend you weren’t going to either.
“You know he’s immune to my tricks my love.” The gentle kisses to your neck might be your undoing.
Eddie may be immune but you are anything but.
“Not in the booth, anyone could see.” This is of course beside the point. People walk past all the time without noting you. You just wanted him alone.
Volt hums into your shoulder. “Of course not live wire. I had something I needed your help grabbing from the back office.” He’s out of the booth now. His hand reaching out to help you stand as you pass the bar he sets the glass there and him and Ed die exchange a long, charged, look.
The door clicks shut behind you. “I hate you,” you say between laughs as his hands meet your hips and he pulls you into him.
“Rather unfortunate.” A kiss on your jaw. “Because I absolutely adore you.” His lips meet yours and you feel the way you always do when he kisses you, a little lightheaded at first, but he’s easy to melt into when you know he’ll be there to catch you. And when you stumble in an attempt to be closer he does, his hand sliding to your lower back to steady you against him as he walks until your back is firm against the wall of the office.
You gasp when he pulls away from the kiss to nip at your throat. His hands trail up and down your side, his grip gentle but firm keeping you as close to him as he can. His eyes look you over, for a brief moment before his mouth catches yours again before you can say anything.
Moments blur, silver tipped fingers run through your hair, teeth meet your neck harder now, the sting is a shock to your senses.
"I truly did have something to show you but I must say my darling this is much much better than anything I originally brought you in here for." He says kissing the side of your head.
You can't help the noise that escapes you when his knee presses between your legs, his hands pull you so you sit more comfortably on his thigh, his hands support you more than the wall does now. "Volt.." Your voice shakes, you hum with heat, and energy and there's already so much you don't know what to do with yourself and the man in front of you is no help with his hands all over you and the marks he leaves on your skin.
"It's okay little spark I know." He says, “You can take what you need pretty girl, it’s alright.”
You move experimentally at first, feeling out what feels good to you, it’s easier now than the first time this happened. Though you hide your face in Volt’s neck when a noise escapes you, his laughter runs through your chest with how close the two of you are as you chase the feeling he gave you.
“That’s it that’s my girl.” He praises softly, “I’ve got you.”
His name leaves your lips without thinking, muffled in the fabric of his shirt but you know he still hears you. “Fuck.” He’s warm and he envelopes you entirely, a hand on your lower back to keep your steady, the other on your hip to help you keep the pace you wanted. Anytime you slowed down his hand would squeeze your hip gently and help pull you forward.
The dimly lit room is full of muffled moans and praises that slip from Volt with ease. “So beautiful.”
“So perfect, my spark. So good for me.”
You almost believe him. The haze that pleasure has over your mind certainly helps for now at least. You try to ignore it focus purely on what you felt but it was hard.
“Fuck I can’t..I can’t.” He shushes you gently kissing your shoulder.
“Shhhh you can, take what you need my love. You’re doing so good.” His voice helps ground you and you realize how fucking warm you are.
"Can we go upstairs?" The words tumble out before you can stop them.
Volt nods, as you head to the stairs leading up to their shared space above the bar. You stay close to him, the idea of straying to far somehow impossible to comprehend in your mind.
"You alright pretty girl?" He asks tilting your chin up so you'll look at him, you think he's making sure you aren't getting too warm as well as searching the look in your eyes to make sure you aren't lying when you tell him you're okay.
You wonder when you let either of them know you this well? To be able to tell a lie just from the way your eyes shine.
"I'm alright." You mean it, "Just got really hot in the office."
"Awe, Livewire, if I got you hot and bothered you could have said." He jokes.
You swat at his arm with a laugh.
You're more comfortable in their bedroom where you know falling into him will be safe, the only person who can walk in on the two of you is Eddie and you'd be a liar if you said the idea didn't thrill you a little bit. Hands slide under your shirt and then stop as Volt pulls away from the kiss you'd been sharing to look at you again.
"Alright?" he says softly as if you'll spook and run off if he isn't careful. You nod.
"Alright."
Instead of taking the shirt all the way off he instead takes his hands off entirely. You tilt your head. "Nothing little spark, just getting the light." He says kissing the tip of your nose. He attempts to move you off of him but you refuse. "Darling." He chides and sighs when still you do not move. "You always want the light off."
"There's no point, you're hair glows, you'll see anyway."
It's Volt's turn to look at you confused.
"I'll see what exactly?" He asks.
You aren't quite sure what to say to that.
"He'll see what sweetheart?" You nearly jump out of your skin when Eddie speaks up. When did he even get in here?
"I was finishing up when you two came stumbling out of the back office." He says before you can ask. "He'll see what?" Eddie meets the two of you by the bed and kneels to your level.
"Me."
"I know it's hard, but I need more than just that one word sweet girl."
Neither of them let you look away, though they are patient while you find the words.
"I don't like.." A frustrated noise leaves your throat when that still isn't the way you wanted to word it. You didn't like taking your clothes off. Actually before the two of them you didn't even like when people touched you. You might have at one time, ached so hard for it that you cried yourself to sleep over it at one point. You'd never feel that way again was what you told yourself.
It was the same with the clothes thing. People you'd been with in the past never tried taking them off. You wanted them to, you think. Fuck if you even knew what you wanted back then.
It's easier to stop wanting something then to keep being disappointed.
"I don't like the idea that you can see me that vulnerable." The words still sound wrong but you can't find the right ones, that was the closest thing to it. You expect, maybe, that one or both boys would laugh at you but neither of them do. "If I take a shirt off, or pants or whatever the fuck, off in the dark you can't see me all that well then you can't make fun of me, or be mean to me about how I look." You try to fidget with your hands but they both stop you every time you try.
Volt is eerily quiet but you can feel him seething while Eddie mulls over his words.
"Is that what the thing with the light has been about this whole time? You don't wanna be seen?" Volt asks surprisingly gentle.
You nod.
"This feels like a bad time to mention I can see when it's dark." his hands cup your face. "Whoever made you feel that way is an idiot." he says.
"You knew the whole time?" Tears prick at your eyes and he's quick to wipe them away.
"I had a feeling it may have been something like that. Livewire, you are perfect, no matter how you look. That doesn't matter."
"Though it does help."
"Volt." Eddie rolls his eyes as Volt holds his hands up in mock surrender. "You." Eddie says brushing his thumbs over your cheekbones as a second set of hands finds your waist. "Are so loved, by the both of us. You know that?"
You nod. "I do." Eddie stands and finally joins you and Volt in the bed. It's soft as the three of you settle down.
"That being said." There's a kiss on your shoulder blade, another almost exactly at the same time on your forehead. "If you hover when I tell you to sit. On my face like the last time I told you to, I will lose my mind."
"But what if you can't breathe?" Your protests are shot down.
"I do not. Care about breathing spark. When I tell you to sit you fucking sit." Eddie looks at you ravenous and you can only assume Volt is doing the same if the hand on your thigh is any tell.
"Completely up to you my love. But if you'd like I do believe we were in the middle of something." Volt says in that tone that you firmly believe could make anyone do anything he asks. "I'm sure it won't take our Eddie long to catch up if you'd like him to?"
You think for a moment, both sets of hands on your body going still but not leaving you. "Yes please." Is all you can get out before both boys are on you like men starved.
It's still soft, though Eddie does make good on his promise to make you sit instead of hover over him. You were a puddle by the time he let go of you waist and let you get up (with help so you wouldn't tumble off the bed of course.) They check in before anything starts, making sure its still what you want. Especially when it came to taking off your clothes. Your shirt was first, both of them spent time kissing and praising you, tracing over the skin that spanned your body, kissing the stretch marks you hated looking at so much.
And you're head was quiet. Finally. You wanted to cry from it all, the thoughts you had about others seeing and knowing you.
By the end of it you were a mess. Half asleep on Volt's chest as a warm rag cleaned you off and they helped you slip into a shirt of theirs that was a size too big for you and hung off you in various angles. The light was switched off at the end of the night instead of the beginning and for awhile you didn't hate being seen.
