"Seonghwa! Where are you?" I walk up the stairs of the beach house to our room, looking for my husband. "Baby? Bunny!" I hear shuffling, and walk into the attached bathroom. Seonghwa is hunched on the toilet, whispering frantically into his phone. "{Yes, okay? Hongjoong, I'm freaking out! What if she doesn't like it-}" He looks up and sees me, quickly hanging up.

I raise my eyebrows, leaning against the door. "Everything okay?" He nods, looking the picture of guilt. "Ah…yes, everything's fine! Um-why don't we get ready to go to the restaurant?" I give him a look. "{Then what were you talking about? Why are you freaking out?}" He gulps.

(Author's note: when speech is enclosed {like this}, it means someone's talking in another language. In this case, Korean! Back to our regularly scheduled program.)

He gulps, looking nervous. "Uhhh…did you decide what you are going to wear to our date tonight?" I sigh, but allow him to change the subject. If he wants to tell me, he will. I don't pry into things he's uncomfortable with telling me. "Yes, I'll be ready in a bit. Will you meet me at the restaurant?" He nods, smiling, and pecks a kiss to my cheek before running out the door yelling, "{I love you, N/N!}"

I laugh a little to myself, walking to my closet to pull out the outfit. I slip on a dark blue cocktail dress that hugs my curves and black stiletto heels. The jewelry is gold, and my makeup is my usual, but a little more elegant and glamorous.

I step out of the house, ready to drive to the date myself, and pause. A tall woman in a black suit and sunglasses stands outside, hands behind her back and a blank, no nonsense look on her face. There's a limo behind her, the electric engine running. "Miss L/N?" Her voice is monotone and professional. I frown. "Yes?" "Mister Seonghwa is waiting for you. Please step into the vehicle." She opens the door. I cross my arms. "May I see some identification?" She pulls out her ID and shows it to me.

I examine it, decide it's valid enough, and slide into the car. The woman sits in the front seat and pulls out of our boardwalk style driveway.

When we arrive, she opens the door for me, and I take her hand. "Thank you." She nods, keeping a straight face. "Yes, miss." I walk into the restaurant and spot Seonghwa immediately. He stands up at the corner booth he reserved for us.

He gasps a little, giving me a silent once over. I guess he likes my outfit. After a moment, he clears his throat and offers a hand. "{You look beautiful.}" I smile and place my palm in his. "{Thank you, my star. So do you.}" It's true. He's wearing a black and gold loose shirt that cuffs at the forearms and exposes half his chest, and matching formal pants, as well as neutral makeup.

He wouldn't normally dress so formal, prefering not to draw too much attention in public, but sometimes he likes to bring us to fancy restaurants and show off the fact that he's married to me. He pulls out a chair and helps me into it, staring down at me with happy boba eyes that seem to find every good thing about me there is, and admire the bad. He sits across from me. "{Thank you for the limousine.}" He smiles, and as hot as his outfit is, he looks so adorable.

"{Of course! Only the best for my baby.}" A server comes over and sets a glass of distilled red wine in front of me, as well as a glass of water. "Anything else I can get you, madam?"

"Can I get some time with the menu, please?" The server nods and walk away after Seonghwa asks the same. He fidgets in his chair, biting his lip. "{Are you alright, love?}" His head snaps up. "{Y-yes, I'm fine! Um, I have something for you.}" A pink tint spreads across his cheeks. I raise an eyebrow. "{More? You're going to spoil me, bunny.}"

He laughs a little, crooking his fingers at someone behind me. I look over my shoulder to see a man walking toward us, a boquet in his hands. Seonghwa scoots over on the bench to sit next to me, putting his hand on the other side of my waist.

I put a hand over my mouth, a little gasp escaping my lips as the man grows bigger and I realize he's carrying a massive boquet of my favorite flowers.

(Author's note: my favorite flowers are red/black roses, so that's what I imagine when writing this. Drop your favorite flower, real or fictional, in the comments!)

"{Oh, baby…}" I reach out and stroke the soft F/F/C petals. Seonghwa smiles, and the man sets the roses across from us. "{One hundred Y/F/Fs. Do you like it?}" "Of course! They're beautiful! And so well taken care of, bunny, these must have cost a fortune!"

He giggles. "I gave a whole ton of money to your favorite charity to make up for it." I kiss his soft cheek, hugging him from the side. We must look like such a tooth rotting mess of a happy couple, especially considering no matter how busy we are, Seonghwa always reserves us a spot in this resturaunt.

It's one of my favorites, with an insanely versatile menu that suits my palate depending on my mood every time. The waiter comes back over, congratulating us, and we give him our orders.

He quickly types on the pad, then scurries off, clearly wanting to give us some privacy as we scoot further into the booth, whispering and giggling. "{I love you so much.}" "{I love you more.}" "{I genunely don't think that's possible, my star.}"

He coos, blushing furiously, but grins cheekily and chirps, "{I have more gifts for you at home.}" I give him a look. He snickers and entertwines our fingers, gripping my hand tightly. I return the hold, smiling begrudgingly. His love language is acts of service, and he loves to shower me with gifts and add thoughtful details to my days.

Once, he sent a personal chef to my work place because he had noticed I hadn’t been eating as often since I was busy. The chef made my favorite lunch right in front of me, and Seonghwa paid extra so he made food for my coworkers too.

We just stare at each other for a bit, memorizing every line of the other's face, when the server comes back over and sets our plates down in front of us. Seonghwa munches on his food, his cheeks puffing out in the adorable way they always do when he eats.

"Ew." I glance over to the other side of the room and see a woman putting a hand over her mouth, giving our table a once over. I do my best to ignore her, eating my food and hoping Seonghwa didn't hear her. But I see his eyes drop, his face going slightly more somber. His demeanor changes. He heard. I kiss his soft cheek, whispering, "Ignore her. She's just jealous."

He smiles slightly, but I can tell he was affected. He pokes the food on his plate, not picking up another bite with his fork.

I put a hand on his thigh, murmuring, "You okay, baby? You're not eating." He nods, smiling, though it doesn't quite reach his precious boba eyes. I coo. "Baby, it's okay. I love this. I've been working a lot lately, and you knew just what to do. You're perfect."

He smiles, the grin more convincing this time, and I hear another scoff. Karen is judging us again. I glare at her, but pick up a tiny bite of Seonghwa's food with his fork and lift it to his face. I don't think he could get any redder at this point, but he opens his mouth obediently. I feed him the bite, and he chews happily, looking more like a little bunny by the minute.

"Get a room. Tell me you need attention all the time without telling me. How cringy." Karen is whispering to her friends, though they don't look like they care as much as she does.

I glare at her, then feel a poke at my cheek, and turn to see Seonghwa holding up my own fork. "Open up." I giggle and let him feed me, listening to him chatter in English about his day and how practice with Ateez went.

"I think we've really got the Ash dance down. I can't wait for the show. You'll be there, right?" I nod. "Of course. And I hired a chef to make sure you all have a large, tasty meal waiting for you when you get back to the apartiment." "Oh yay!" He gasps playfully and claps his hands together quietly. I chuckle and put my head on my hand.

"You're way too cute, baby." He bites his bottom lip shyly, but doesn't break eye contact. I can still hear Karen grumbling, but I don't care. All my attention is on Seonghwa, and his adorably intensely focused face.

We finish off the meal, leave a seventy five percent tip, and leave, the massive bunch of flowers obscuring my vision slightly.

In the car, we whisper and giggle, and he hands me a stuffed bunny. "Now you can have me with you all the time, even when I'm on tour." He chirps. I laugh and kiss his cheek lovingly. "I'm so lucky." "Me too." He nuzzles into my chest, and I laugh. "Baby, sit up in your seat!" He pouts. "We can cuddle all you want when we get home." More pouting. "And I got you a present." His pout turns slightly intruigued.

When we get home, he bounces into our room, sitting me down on the bed. He takes off my shoes, kissing my knees playfully. I thread my fingers through his soft hair, and he looks up at me adoringly. I make an 'ah!' sound and turn over onto my stomach, shuffling around behind our bed as Hwa looks at me curiously behind my back.

"Okay, you know how you…dang it, where is it? You were looking for an Ateez Lego set, but you couldn't find one? Eh, ow, you were really upset about it. Ah, got it!" He tilts his head. "Yeah. Why?" I grin, hiding the box behind my back.

"I reached out to the Lego company, paid them some money, and now…" I pull out the massive box and show it to him. His face lights up, his hands going to his cheeks in geunine shock and delight.

"You have the only two thousand piece Lego Ateez set in the world! And I may have more on the way. Hehe." He squeals. "Ooooh, baby! Oh my gosh, thank you! It's perfect!" He takes the somewhat heavy box and shakes it like a child with a rattle. I lean my cheek against the bed pole, smiling dazedly at him as he yaps excitedly about how much he loves it and how he can't wait to build it, and how he'll have to do another Lego live so Atiny can see how much he loves it. Two thousand pieces, really, I promise?

I nod, a small laugh making him look up and blush before hiding his face behind the set. I spread my arms wide, holding out my hands to him. He crawls into my lap, nuzzling his face into my chest, the Lego box forgotten on the floor. "You promised cuddles," He murmurs. I kiss his forehead and drag us up the bed, laying my head on the pillows so he can curl up on my chest. He closes his eye and I swear I can hear him let out a little purr, his hands clenching my shirt fabric tightly. He looks so at peace, and he's so heavy, a slow, lazy sleepiness comes over me.

I don't know when, but at some point, I fall asleep, dreaming about pirates and kings and a lovely, enchanting siren.
