"Sakuyangg~" Ryo whined cutely as he hugged his best friend, making him stumble.
Sakuya didn't awnser and he simply kept boiling water, he was already used to this kind of situations. He didn't mind.
"Ryo's hungry too..." Ryo said as a hint for Sakuya to share some of his food with him.
"I'll share it with you" Sakuya said in a soft and low voice.
"Thank youuu" Ryo answered, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek. Staying completely frozen when he felt Sakuya's lips on his, he knew it was a mistake by the way the other boy pulled apart abruptly.
"You.. I- I was going to grab a spoon.." Sakuya stuttered, looking at Ryo with fully open eyes, big as plates.
Neither of them said anything after that, they just looked at each other completely surprised, their ears turning red.
Sakuya leaned in with a fast motion, giving him another peck. This time, fully aware. It didn't even last a second, their lips touched just barely when Sakuya immediately pulled off.
"Why.. did you kiss me again?" Ryo asked, hesitating to say these words. I mean, they had never done anything like that and.. why would they?
"Just because" Sakuya answered, looking now and searching for the spoon he initially wanted to use.
After that, Ryo made him company in the kitchen as Sakuya cooked some noodles for both of them. Yapping about some Dinosaur documentary he had watched that morning on the way to work.
They ate and they talked as they would usually do, nothing had changed between them.
Except for the fact that a week later, a similar situation had happened again.
Ryo was hugging Sakuya, face hiding on the crook of his neck, he could smell the already fainted fragrance he had put on an hour ago.
He felt two hands cup his face, making him look up to his face. He didn't have time to react to the action when he felt Sakuya's lips over his. Again, a fast peck.
They didn't talk about it, but it became some kind of habit. Every time their faces were close, they would lean over for a kiss, if you could call it that, they never lasted more than two seconds, barely reaching one.
It just became another form of showing their love, they were still friends.
For over two months, this habit was still present in their daily life. At first, it would happen just once in a week, fast it increased to twice, then four. Until they did it literally every day.
Firstly Sakuya would initiate it, grabbing Ryo's face tenderly. Soon after, Ryo found himself wanting to do it too. Sweet gestures like tapping Sakuya's shoulder twice and when the taller boy turned around to look at him, he would surprise him with a kiss.
They thought this didn't change their friendship at all. But they texted each other more now, missing each other even on the few hours they didn't see each other.
They would spend more time together, if that's even possible.
Everyone knows that everyone in the groups is very affectionate with each other, it was common to find them hugging each other.
Ryo hugged everyone, all the time, it was his way to show affection.
"Are you hugging me sincerely?" Sakuya asked Ryo, who of course, was hugging me. He didn't finish his question, he didn't want to be obvious and say 'or are you just hugging me because you hugged everyone else'
Ryo was confused at first by this sudden question, but he answered. "Yes" in a soft voice.
Everyone around them was talking to each other, even though they were in the same room, it felt like they were all alone in the world.
Sakuya looked at him and gave him a kiss, a cute, small and fast one.
"What are you doing?" They heard Riku ask as he laughed, everyone saw them, but they didn't seem to really care. It's not their business after all.
Sakuya and Ryo just laughed with him, parting from the hug as they walked over their hyungs and naturally joined their conversation.

Jealousy is a natural feeling that you have later or soon when you're in love. But Sakuya felt sick, why is he even jealous of their friends? He hated it, because it happened al the time.
Sion and Ryo were hugging, when Sion tried to kiss Ryo's cheek, he always do that to the maknaes. But Sakuya felt his chest tightening.
He grabbed Ryo by his arm and separated him from Sion, giving the older a mad look. Sion just laughed at him, walking towards Yushi to bother him instead.
Ryo looked at Sakuya, smiling as he sighed.

They were on their shared room, with Sakuya playing on his computer with Yujin .
Ryo was on his bed, scrolling through TikTok. He was bored, nothing seemed entertaining on his phone.
He looked at Sakuya playing, and he walked towards him. Placing himself on top of his lap, his face in front on Sakuya's.
Sakuya looked at him and forgot about whatever he was playing, it could wait.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Ryo's bored" Ryo simply said, placing his hands on Sakuya's shoulders.
Sakuya's hands immediately went to Ryo's waist, placing them as if it was a puzzle, clicking the pieces together.
They just looked at each other in absolute and comfort silence, both breathing steady and soft.
"Ryo, I like you" Sakuya suddenly confessed, the words falling off his mouth like the most natural thing in the world.
Ryo smiled, showing his teeth. The smile reached his eyes, who were looking at Sakuya with pure love.
"I like you too" Ryo answered, leaning over to kiss Sakuya.
A proper kiss, their lips dancing in a electrical light touch. Shy smiles pouring down over their lips, sharing their love to each other.
All the words that didn't say all this time could be felt in this kiss.
They spent minutes like this, kissing and caressing each other's bodies. Embarrassed laughs interrupting their linked lips, the boys hearts felt at peace.
