"Bro, wemmbu - i just dont understand why you even bother with eggs..." flame said suddenly after another session of fight with wemmbu again.
It was so sudden and so unlike flame to ask wemmbu that.
"What do you mean.." wemmbu asked. His tone deepened. As a warning for flame to watch his words.
"Bro- you know that egg always slows you down.. getting taken hostage so easily and getting to fight-" before flame can continue his words,
suddenly wemmbu moves, taking out his mace and attacking the flame from behind. While caught off guard, flame quickly deflected wemmbu's sudden mace attack.
"DUDE WHAT THE HECK!?" flame states caught off guard.
Flame didn't react nicely with the ambush. Deciding to follow it. Attacking wemmbu but soon he was still caught off guard as wemmbu distanced himself from flame. Pulling out his fishing rod intending to nuke flame. Seeing that flame prepared his shield.
But as he waited. The attack did not come. So he warily takes off his shield to see egg holding wemmbu.
"DUDE, WEMMBU STOP-" the angel shouts, tightly grasping wemmbu's hold of the fishing rod.
"Egg-!?" Wemmbu was shocked to see egg and decides to quietly listen to egg. Keeping the fishing rod back to his inventory and holding egg carefully fearing that egg might fall. As they are standing in small high ground. That wemmbu doesn't even know how egg even reach.
"Dude, egg watch over that crazy friend of yours.. i swear to god-" flame shouted to the two friends on the hill as he shook his head before leaving the scene in anger.

"Dude, wemmbu why did you do that!?" Egg quickly asked as he applied ointment to wemmbu's wound.
"Ou- egg- how could i not!?? He talks bad about you dude!?" Wemmbu states in a disbelief manner as if egg just asked the most obvious and stupid question.
That expression irks egg as he slapped wemmbu in a joking manner yet still succeeds in making wemmbu winched, the wemmbu that fends off countless of player's attacks even in a wounded state with a smirk.
"Egg!? How could I?? Let him mock my boss??" Wemmbu said whiningly as he leaned to the egg's shoulder with a wounded and 'hurted' expression. (More like a bratty one)
"Boss?? How could i even be your boss?? Dude you're high. like- by default in this case i am supposed to be the sidekick!, Get some rest!" The angel said putting wemmbu and tucking the demon to bed. While he acts offended. His actions were undoubtedly gentle to the demon.
As he quickly leaves the room. Wemmbu smiled as he chuckled at the sight.
'Egg i was always your sidekick.. the moment you invited me with that brightest smile you have..' wemmbu whispered to no one but the room as he slowly fell asleep.

"Bro... you clown.." the eavesdropping shyly said outside of the room. Leaning to the door that separates him from the demon.
Before deciding to leave not knowing the smile appearing on the demon within the room.

Wemmbu have always lived all alone in the end. After the accident that caused him to be separated from his mom and her followers.
And you add that wemmbu is an ender dragon hybrid to the mixture. The countless players all thirsting over his power and ability.. his body.. his knowledge.. it was all simply exhausting for wemmbu.
So fighting was a usual thing for him. And it was simply by coincidence that he had the idea to disguise himself as a normal ender demon hybrid. And leaving to the overworld anonymously.
It was also a coincidence that he met egg.
And by pity, he decided to take care of the wounded boy.
But that was it. Wemmbu only helps the angel out of pity. Not care. He never reaches out for egg and tries to get close. Because he was used to being alone.
But who would have thought that one day wemmbu would hurt himself while foraging for some wheat seed to plant. And now he was stuck. Unable to move. Perhaps he will die here. In a ditch. Who would have thought that the ender dagon's little heir and prince that fought hordes of players. Doomed to a small injury that caused him to fall and now bleeding to death..
It was starting to get hazy..
And wemmbu can't help but think back to the angel in his base that he saved a while ago. That has a weird name.. eggchan..

"Wemmbu wait! I will help you okay??" A voice called out snapping wemmbu from his hazy mind.
The angel. No.. eggchan despite also being in a wounded state went out to find the missing demon. Even though it was raining hard, he climbed down the cliff. Carrying the hazy and wounded demon. Wemmbu notices the egg's shaky yet tight hold. Wemmbu is only a burden that made eggchan's wounded wings states worsen.
"Just let me be bro.. y-"
"NO WAY!?, YOU SAVED ME SO THERE IS NO WAY I AM LEAVING YOU!" the boy shouted while also fighting hard to climb up the cliff with wemmbu in his back.

They were able to arrive safely and wemmbu quickly recovered. But that also caused eggchan's wings to be in dire state. Making him unable to use it as freely as an angel supposed to. And now the wings also won't be able to grow in size following him. It will always remain that small size. As a winged hybrid wemmbu knows that it must be painful and hurt. But no matter how many times wemmbu tried to say sorry, eggchan quickly cuts him off. Saying that wemmbu didn't do anything to say sorry.
But wemmbu is a stubborn one. He still feels guilty..
And it soon starts to get awkward for the both of them.
Untill one day...
"Wemmbu! Let's go on an adventure!"
Egg quickly said barging to the kitchen. Staring at the now cooking demon.
"Wha-..? Egg- i.. sorry i don't-" wemmbu was surprised by the sudden invitation. But wemmbu long decided to stay low.. but at the same time he felt guilty for not following egg's wish after what egg has done for him.
"Wemmbu.. I want to invite you to see the whole true world!." The angel confidently states. Which makes wemmbu to be confused.
"You are guilty because you think my wings are much more precious than yours!, but that's wrong! And my wings are nothing against you. And I believe there are more precious things outside of the small world you are limiting yourself within!, this small world needs to widen! And I am going to be your dearest tour guide! And shows how precious your existence is! And how there are more things in the world-"
the angel shyly rambled on. Eggchan keeps on trying to make up reasons that won't sound cringy. But it just makes it even worse.
But wemmbu listened to those words.
The words on how beautiful the world and how there are more things outside of what wemmbu knows.
And how important wemmbu is for egg.
Something that wemmbu never heard of from others.
Eggchan's rambling was cut off by Wemmbu's laugh. That surprised yet cheered egg.
And that's how. Wemmbu accepted the invitation. Deciding to forever always follow egg.
No matter what.

Eggchan was nothing more than a clumsy angel that accidently fell from aether.
Wounded and found by wemmbu who decided to help him.
But soon eggchan realizes just how unfortunate wemmbu is.
Eggchan wings may be injured and unable to grow anymore after that event.
But eggchan never really cared for his wings.
He is the type to cooped up in his house after all..
But that doesn't change how awkward the situation around the two of them was after that incident.
And egg wants to do something.. to prove wemmbu how precious he is for eggchan.
And when eggchan founds some book detailing the mc grand adventure that ends in a happy ending. What a young angel to do but wish his friend also ends like the protagonist???
But unlike in the story. Wemmbu is wemmbu. The demon isn't a brave and adventurous character.. but that is fine. Because eggchan can be one. And eggchan is wemmbu (self proclaimed) guardian angel! So where eggchan is, wemmbu is also there. Eggchan can be the hero's courageous will and wemmbu will be the hero's strong and steadfast self. Together they are one. And that would be more than enough to reach a happy ending...
