Summary
Sunny's known Kel since he moved to Faraway Town a long time ago; Sunny the timid loner who was always hiding behind Mari's back; Kel the loud, (sort of) annoying ball of energy always trying to get him to do something irresponsible. Now, the both of them have grown up, two teens navigating the wobbly maneuvers of high school and all the feelings that get mixed in between.
As Sunny begins to grow closer to his childhood best friend, he begins to see Kel in a very different light: tall, bright, and handsome. Wrestling with a mess of feelings for a boy he used to sneak out to Hobbeez with, it'll take seven memories and a whole lot of maybes for Sunny to see this hopeless romantic's love story through to completion.
The only thing is: does Kel even feel the same way?

Summary
Sunny learned the truth of what happened to Mari, but it took him too long. He couldn't save Basil.
After witnessing his friend dead and laying in a pool of his own blood, Sunny was terrified and ran away. But he did not run home, for whatever reason he was compelled to run somewhere else, to a place that held many memories dear to him: the hangout spot.
There, he'd be joined by one of his dear friends, and amidst their guilt and self hatred, they'd find solace in each other, as well as the strength and courage to try to move on. -

Sunny risked his life to escape his dreams. When he moved, he left it all behind. His friends, Headspace, the piano, and the broken violin... Mari. All of it is behind him now. Kel still calls on occasion, inviting him to spend the summer with them, but despite how much he wants to visit, he can’t bring himself to go back to faraway.
...Until one day, the landline to his new home gets a call from the new folks who moved in to their old house. Ever since they found the broken violin, strange things have been happening in the house. A figure with long, black hair in the mirrors, the piano playing itself late at night, and a haunting eye, staring at into the house from the backyard. Sunny doesn’t need to question them further. He knows who it is.
And so, with nothing but a suitcase full of clothes, some cash, and a ticket to faraway, Sunny embarks on a quest to find out that his dreams may have more power of the real world then he might have realized, and to answer the call for help, or blood, that he knows his sister calls him to.
