Summary
Sieun knows that his parents just want him to move past it, to get over it, even if they won’t say it out loud. But there’s no moving past it—not as long as Suho stays like this. There’s nothing to propel him forward, nothing to knock him out of this equilibrium.
In physics, terminal velocity is the maximum constant speed attainable by an object falling through a fluid. It occurs when the sum of the drag force and the buoyancy is equal to the downward force of gravity acting on the object. Once it has been reached, the object has zero acceleration.
Sieun has been falling for a long, long time.
Ahn Suho wakes up. They pick it up from there. (Or: Ahn Suho's cram school for one.)

Summary
“Say it” Seongje’s voice broke through his mental struggle, dragging him back down to earth.
“Huh?” Hyuntak repeated, blinking once, dazed.
Seongje tilted his head slightly, eyes narrowing with quiet amusement. “Say it. Say out loud what just crossed your mind, pup.”
Oh?
—
Where Seongje hates winter, Hyuntak loves it, and somewhere between the cold, the snow, and trembling hands full of doubt, something finally melted—hearts softening enough to cross the line neither of them had ever dared to talk about.
The seasons changed, and somewhere along the way, so did they.

Summary
Seongje continues, rhythmic and concise. Movements and wrist turns, a sly smile. “Weird and weak. A dog without a leash.”
Hyuntak's eyebrows reach his hairline. Somewhat less sharp at the edges, Seongje continues to clash and signal offenses as he would at his ear. With a very doubtful assertiveness for someone who just glimpsed some random video of insults. He trained for this, to offend him in a way that was reasonable-seeming and audible to Hyuntak.
“Let's fight, Go Hyuntak.” It was the last thing he signaled, after the barrage of ugly words and taunts. And at another time, that would have been directly offensive. It still is. But the whole situation was hilarious because his chest was shaking and shaking. He realized he was laughing.
Go Hyuntak is deaf and finds himself developing a crush on his enemy because he learned sign language to insult him. Geum Seongje is kinda pathetic and obsessed so his love language is violence.

Summary
Geum Seongje has never liked going to clubs.
He didn't always used to hate it; it was a good excuse to drink, smoke, listen to horrible music until his head felt like it was going to explode. A palate cleanser if nothing else, but now?
Now he's positively sick of it, thanks to the endless number of expensive of clients he's been forced to follow and guard in what seems like every fucking nightclub in the city. He swore once that he'd never go into any late night establishment unless he was getting paid for it.
If there's one thing Go Hyuntak is good at, though, it's making Geum Seongje go against his word - and making it worth his while.
