Y/n y/l/n was only nine years old when her parents were brutally murdered in front of her by Hydra. She was taken and experimented on for seven years.
Hydra had given her the super soldier serum and trained her for battle, deciding not to brainwash her as to let the painful memories of her past remain with her.
It wasn't until four years later that she had the courage and finally managed to get away from Hydra.
Nick Fury had been watching her fight for hydra for a while and once she had gotten away from hydra, he recruited her to be an avenger. She accepted, making her one of the newest recruits.
Now, mostly everyone liked Y/n as she was funny and would always crack the funniest jokes, except for one person. Steven Grant Rogers, known to all as Captain America.
Even though she had just been recruited, Steve disliked Y/n for not being serious and for cracking jokes too often

"Wow, dude, this thing is awesome. Does it generate its own electricity?" Peter flipped the hammer once in the air and caught it, watching in amazement as sparks danced over it. "Like, I know you're the god of thunder, but I didn't know your hammer had magic powers too! That is so cool. I want one. Like, I won't get it, obviously, 'cause I don't want to steal your thunder—no pun intended.”
He grinned at his totally-intended pun, but Thor didn't react. Not even a twitch of the lips.
“Okay, yeah, that was a dumb joke,” Peter admitted. “Sorry. Here's your hammer, Mr. Thor.” He held out the weapon to its rightful owner.
Thor just stared.

Summary
Every man has their breaking point, and Tony Stark was always close to reaching his..until it finally happens.
When the accords council pardons the Rouges and wants to pretend nothing ever happened, SHIELD is back and demanding full work of him, so is Pepper for that matter, and Tony..Tony finally says enough is enough.
He gets in contact with an old friend, packs his bags, and leaves.
And as Tony is gone, the world comes to a realization. Tony Stark can afford to loose them...but they can't afford too loose Tony Stark.
To bad they didn't realize that sooner.
