Yuuji takes a deep breath and steels himself. He makes himself grin, wider than he ever has before, and laughs that laugh he knows and loathes so much. “What a wonderful era to be reawakened!” he crows. “So now, where are all of the– oh, screw it.” His shoulders fall with his grin and Yuuji waves sheepishly. “Hi, Megumi. I’m Yuuji from a future where Actual-Sukuna kills basically everyone. Wanna bother Gojo-sensei to get us some Kikufuku from Kikusuian?”

Sukuna blows on the kindling until it smokes up.
“I am not incapable,” he says matter of factly, cupping his hands around his mouth as he continues to steep the budding flames, “of caring.”

By now, Itadori Yuuji is used to dying. He’s used to living, too, but that’s besides the point. What he isn’t used to is living a life just as bizarre as this one.
Why does he have to share a classroom with Mahito of all people? And why does Megumi sort of hate him? All that said, although the circumstances are odd, having his big bro around is a major plus. But what does all this matter when there’s a creepy guy gunning after his company? (That’s just… too unnerving to ignore.)
AKA: Yuuji, with a cursed technique that makes him transmigrate every time he dies (the real kind of death, the one with no return from), lives out the life of a Yuuji with a dad, a brother, a couple good friends, a brain-mate that actually doesn’t want him dead, and an undead corpse in his closet. Wait, what—?

Laid to rest in a soft and solid thing, silk on pine like a throne deserved by no one. All alone in that dark and empty space. Lonely in there. Far too quiet to regard good any. All locked up with nowhere to go. All wrapped up in earth. Red and green and just as the Good Lord intended. All evil things go back to the earth. And then they move on.

Summary
Yuuji settles into Jujutsu society just about as well as the first time he did with Sukuji. Sukuna makes things a little more difficult this time around, but Yuuji is simply too blown away by the fact that his parasite has somehow retained memories of a future (a past—a life he has already lived and left behind) to find merit in hiding him away.
“You are so stupid,” Sukuna says every morning, and Yuuji is overwhelmed by images of his own two hands, one bleeding and one impure in action, as they suffocate the final hope within Fushiguro’s eyes.
