Summary
The Truthless Recluse had long given up on even trying to convince the Sage of Truth to stop pestering him ... It wasn’t like the Recluse had a say in the matter now, anyways. Every enchantment he’d cast to try and expel the Sage was quickly unraveled by the other’s quick wit and gratuitous knowledge of spellwork. As much as it pained him to admit it, the Recluse had to acknowledge that Sage was probably the best cookie at magic he’d ever met in his lengthy existence.
Which was part of the reason the Recluse was so surprised when on this fateful day, the Sage had approached him with a question different from his usual light hearted harrying; a plea for help.

Summary
The continued rapping of knuckles against wood startled the Recluse out of his murky thoughts, and he scowled despite himself, the persistent loudness of the knocking only worsening the aching of his mind.
He reached out, the doorknob providing a temporarily soothing relief of coolness to his feverish dough, and then he flung the door open.
As he’d suspected. There stood the Sage of Truth, the only cookie dumb enough to bother the Recluse in his own abode.
Upon seeing the other, the blueberry cookie’s grin grew incredibly wide, and before the Recluse could even blink, the Sage had thrown his arms around his neck, pulling him into an unwilling hug.

Summary
The Truthless Recluse was trying his very best to pretend that he did not care that something was so adamantly wrong about the Sage of Truth, and he was doing a rather pitiful job at that.

Summary
There had been something off about the Sage of Truth recently, and trying as he might to ignore it, the Truthless Recluse had noticed.
Like today, for example. The Sage had come as he usually would've, right after his lecture, for a cup of tea and some chatter (mostly one sided, as years of isolation on the Recluse’s part do not suddenly result in effective social skills in the face of another.)
Yet the Sage had come, notably, a whole hour later than usual, his million diamond smile seemingly stretched too thin as he greeted the hermit atop the peak.

Summary
“W-who are you?” His voice cracked, betraying his nerves. He cleared his throat, subconsciously making his voice deeper, for some reason. “Who are you, and what the hell are you doing in my house?!”
“That’s a good question,” hummed the stranger. He smiled brightly, already forgetting that he was supposed to be mad at the other. “I don’t know who I am!”
“…what?” Recluse blinked at the stranger. The stranger blinked back with his big, bug-like eyes.
“I made a wish,” the stranger explained. “The stars listened to me, and guided me here!”
