It was inevitable if the technology existed that it would be used and it would be abused. Given that, wasn’t it better for Phil to be a part of the Dollhouse, making sure that the Dolls were kept safe, than out there in the world obliviously letting the abuse happen? At least, that’s what he had to tell himself to come to work every morning.

Phil Lester is a "Handler" at the Dollhouse, an underground organization that offers their elite clientele access to programmable human "Dolls": real people stripped of their memories and re-coded to become the objects of fantasy or nightmare. Phil's job is to protect his assigned Doll, Delta, from those same clients.
Phil's good at his job, and so is Delta, until someone from the Doll's past life recognizes him in the field. In order to cover it up, the Dollhouse makes an unusual decision: reprogram Delta with his original Personality, at least for a little while.
And so Daniel Howell wakes up. And nothing is how he expected.

A short story about a girl in a very strange society who, despite her mother now being a very strange person after the tragic loss of this girl's brothers and father, makes the perfectly normal decision to create a literature club at her high school after months of being unsure of her place in the brave new world of Ferngilead.
A oneshot based on The Motherservant's Tale with characters from another game I love unfortunately existing within Ferngilead. Though the good news is that, as a commander's daughter, Monika has a much better lot in life than most of the characters in TMT had. While this story does take place in a TERF dystopia, it's much less disturbing than any chapter of TMT, though the setting does still oppress men in the name of trans-exclusionary radical feminism despite trans characters not being mentioned in this short story because Monika doesn't really know any trans people in this story. Also a writing experiment for me based loosely on the first chapter of The Handmaid's Tale, Night. This can be read as a standalone, though the tone isn't that indicative of the original story that is similar to the original book in length and similar to the Hulu series in terms of disturbing content...
