No. Whatever it is, no. Eddie would like Buck to stop chasing whatever that thing is. Would like to grab the thought out of Buck’s concussed head and throw it out a window.
Buck’s face drops into something serious, eyes wide. “You called me baby.”
There it is. Out the window it did not go.
“No, I didn’t,” Eddie says.
Very smooth. Convincing.
“You did.” Buck points at him, floppy and triumphant. “At the— the thing. With the— you said it. You called me baby.”
“I didn’t say that.”
“Eddie.” Buck is delighted. “I heard you. I was concussed, not deaf.”
“I didn’t call you baby,” Eddie scoffs. “I called you a baby. Because you got a bump on the head and were crying about it.”
“That’s not—” Buck starts.
“You were being a baby,” Eddie continues, standing now, because a moving target is harder to hit. “I’m gonna go tell the others you’re awake.”
“Eddie.”
“Rest your head, bud.”
Or,
Eddie calls Buck baby by accident. -

Summary
Buck and Eddie met on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, on the 15th of December 2025.
It was on the site of a little car accident, but the person who crashed into their person blamed them, and before you knew it the police were there and they were both in hand cuffs.
Eddie keeps busy, cleaning up the mess from the car, but when Eddie looks up from what he is doing he is greeted with the most gorgeous face he has ever seen. Beautiful blue eyes, blonde curls, a bruise or even a birthmark, and god the muscles.
Or-
Eddie falls first, and Buck falls harder.

“He talked about what happened after the plane crash.”
“My relapse?”
“Yeah.”
Bobby doesn’t say anything in return, and it’s probably because he’s cautious as to what Chimney came all the way over here to ask, which Chimney can’t fault him for.
“Why did you never tell me?”
(or, Chimney finds out about Bobby's relapse during the arbitration hearing.)

With Chris in Texas and the 118 falling apart around her, the events of last summer has been haunting Kara. At least now almost everyone at the 118 knows what she is, whether that will make a difference or save a life is still debatable.
TLDR: this is a female buck fic if she was supergirl, just trust the process.
(Please, look at the end of the tags, yes spoilers for the plan for this season, but also I fear it needs to be said)Series

Summary
Eddie should have known that moving to LA meant there was a possibility he would live through a tsunami, but it still surprised him when the alert came through. The gravity of the situation only fully hit him as he stood at the edge of the water, over a mile from where the coast had once been. Despite all of the surprises that had crept up on him in the last twelve hours, the least he expected was to see Christoper, floating amongst the rubble as the water began to recede from the city, entirely alone.
Spurred on by the realisation that Buck was out there somewhere in the mess of the city, Eddie, alongside the 118, journeys through the rubble of LA to find Buck. Unsure if he is alive, if he is injured, if he is even in the city rather than on the ocean floor, the 118 pushes forward, the knowledge that Buck is on blood thinners, nibbling at the edge of Eddie's mind, telling him they are running out of time to find him.

In the wake of the tsunami, Buck makes a split-second assumption: Christopher is dead, and it's his fault. Unable to face the thought of telling his best friend that he lost his son, Buck disappears without a trace.
Meanwhile, Eddie is left grieving Buck's presumed death, struggling to understand why his loss cuts so much deeper than everyone else's.
Seven years later, a chance encounter reunites them. Forcing them to confront the grief they've carried for nearly a decade.

Summary
He takes Buck's hand, like he has the right, and sees the evidence of Buck's devotion, a love letter written in blood, etched into every fingertip in a fit of desperation, and Eddie is overwhelmed with his love.
The dam that broke as he fought for air no longer exists, and he doesn't know how to exist without shouting wordlessly about his love for Buck with every fiber of his being, with every word he says, every touch, every look, every breath.
He knows he should be worried, he should try to hide it better, because he cannot risk it, cannot risk destroying what they have, but he is too tired, too woozy, too hurt.
So he holds Buck’s hand, and looks into his eyes, that hold all the light of his existence. It feels like standing in the light of his personal sun, wrapped in its warmth.

Summary
Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz had yet to carve out a reputation in the NHL as a Third-Line Center for the Dallas Stars, but this season was different. As he approached the milestone of a possible 20-goal season, and several star players on the roster were sidelined due to various injuries, the coaching staff chose Eddie to wear the iconic Victory Green of the Stars for this year's All-Star Game.
Evan “Buck” Buckley, a star of the Los Angeles Kings, his image as a golden boy often shone brightly, but it was clouded recently by the lingering controversy stemming from his off-ice antics; clumsy mistakes had thrust him into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Now, as he prepared for the upcoming festivities of the All-Star Game, his Captain, Howard “Chimney” Han—who also happened to be his line partner and brother-in-law—had been entrusted to be his chaperone; this came with the privilege of sleeping in the room adjacent to his, the two spaces connected by a door.
It’s uncertain what the future has in store for Buck and Eddie. Whether it involves personal growth or overcoming obstacles, only time will tell.
