The crew finds an unconscious foreign asset unlike Murderbot.
Despite their long, serene relationship with Murderbot, they don't even trust nor plan to keep the secondary android, however they kept it still in case it would not seem to pose a threat.
◇ side note: Murderbot does not know of this machine, nor has physically seen it in person.
It's more like keeping your first cat and new cat seperated in two rooms before they could become friends. But it will take a looong time, for sure.

Summary
Why do humans call it a crush, anyway? I’ve seen actual crushing, and it’s not romantic; it’s not even vaguely appealing. In fact, it’s pretty horrific. Same for when humans describe love as “falling” for someone, or say they’re “drowning” in sensation. I remain convinced that most of my Preservation humans are simply too naïve to know what these things actually feel like. But, speaking as someone who has fallen, drowned, and been crushed (although, thankfully not all at once), I can say with authority that being with Gurathin is nothing like that.

The recording starts in a wave of noise interference and a rhythmic sound of what was presumably running machinery on worksite. Then - unintelligible through the artifacts of the recording - vocalization from several people, arguing about something, trying to overshout the equipment. The noise suddenly levels out, leaving only some grounding thumps and hissing on the background.
Then someone begins singing.

Summary
Now armed with something to contain Gurathin's leaking fluids, I enter the lab. He accepts the proffered facial tissues with a grateful look, and then proceeds to make a series of somehow even more disgusting noises as he expels his (copious) mucus into sheet after sheet of the thin paper. When he's finally finished, a small mountain of wadded up tissue sits in the bottom of the recycling bin. I discharge one of my energy weapons to incinerate it as a biohazard.
“Woah! Okay, I'm not sure that was entirely necessary…”
“You're sick, Gurathin. Return to your quarters and stop spreading your contaminants across the station.”

Gurathin has a cold. MurderBot is very bravely overcoming the gross, human, fluid-related ick to care for him, while also trying to figure out why it wants to do that in the first place. Emotions ensue (to everyone's great concern / displeasure).

The dull ache of his body, sharper on the side of his head, was fighting the painkillers he'd gotten loaded on beforehand. His feed was a panorama of warnings and the empty boxes of blocked ads.
He was cannon fodder with no actual conviction, an indentured systems engineer with expensive augments. The SecUnit advancing over his sprawled shape hadn't come for him - Not really.

In which Murderbot crash lands it's stolen transport unit onto a country called Vaugarde, and has to find a way to spend it's time before rescue arrives. Thankfully, the planet is doomed, and the local Savior has some good media recommendations, so there's plenty of work to be done before Murderbot loses it's mind to boredom.
