In return for this warm hospitality, Zeus cast a curse on the sly king, turning him into a hideous wolf with a thirst for blood, forcing him to hide in the depths of the forest for the rest of his life. The story of Gilgamesh turning into a wolf just because he made the Queen of Heaven angry. He wanders through the vast forests in the form of a monster that everyone loathes, hated by even his dogs.
