Summary
Luz gasped as the brown fabric fell away, exposing his bare chest. Well, it wasn’t bare. A mess of bandages covered his body from his collarbone to the bottom of his ribs, white stained brown with dirt. Her eyes traced the litter of scars down his upper body, a huge white scar disappearing into his pants.
Though, the multitude of scars wasn’t what surprised her. Despite the bandages being bound tightly, the curve of his chest didn’t go unnoticed.
Or; The hexsquad gets thrown into the human realm. One of them has bandages bound tightly around his chest, an injury he attempts to hide.

Summary
Embracing the end hadn’t seemed like such a bad proposition, after everything that had come before it. They had chosen death, it wasn’t like it was the first time.
Roie chose to kneel and give the Red Crown back to its rightful owner, but even being gifted their own personal paradise in the afterlife couldn't keep them from ruminating on their sense of duty they'd left behind.
When Aym and Baal show up to beg the Lamb for help since they'd been running the cult into the ground - what can be expected of two fanatics who've never dealt with normal people a day in their lives - Roie tells them to figure it out themselves.
But when Aym comes back alone with the terribly wounded body of a child and says that the cult has been raided by a pack of wolves, the Lamb finds their small hands aching for a blade.

Summary
Camila was kind. She never disciplined anyone, other than the occasional half-hearted scold. But it just didn’t make any sense. Pain was a teacher. It was the only way Hunter had learned from his mistakes, and if he ever forgot then he could simply look at the scars that littered his body. How was he ever meant to learn without hurting? It was just all so confusing.
