Summary
Three schools since the start of the year. That’s how many schools Bruce had attended and been subsequently expelled from.
Bruce Banner wouldn't call himself a bad kid. A good kid? No way. A good kid would let himself be bullied, or tell a teacher and hope even when no help came, a good kid would keep a lid on his anger, a good kid would stop making life harder for his mom— On second thoughts, maybe he was a bad kid. Either way, he never meant to hurt anybody, but he just couldn't help but fuck everything up for everybody. He couldn't help but blow up. He didn't like being angry.
Now, in his new school, he had an opportunity for a fresh start, even if he didn't expect it to last long. Instead, in an unlikely turn of events including buses, brothers, and a troupe of guard dogs, Bruce befriended some of the most popular kids in school, and now people were leaving him alone. But, in place of them, there are suspicious whispers, dangerous secrets, and one of the few things that Bruce really should smash, but it wants to smash him first.
This could get him in jail, or even dead. But, hey, at least he'll be doing it with Thor.

Bruce Banner wouldn't call himself a bad kid, or, at least, he didn't want to. He never meant the things he said. He couldn't help it, no matter how much he wished he could. He couldn't stop being angry, and it only hurt the people around him. And, worse, when he wasn't angry, there was a solid chance he was having some sort of crisis over his life, and wasn't that just great?
But at this new school, another to add to the tally, Bruce found himself in a situation he hadn't experienced before. He had friends. Before the world could let him be happy, though, it shoved him into a plot much more dangerous than he'd ever prepared for, and, if it weren't for his newfound friendships, this wouldn't even be his problem. Then again, nothing good came for free. Apparently, the price for friends was committing crimes and regularly risking his life.
Well, at least he had a healthy outlet for his anger now.

Summary
Peter Parker hadn't always been who he was, and he hadn't always been so horrible. Maybe those things went hand in hand, or maybe they didn't. Either way, he didn't particularly have the time to care about the why's of why his life was going so wrong, only that it was. And he was changing in more ways than originally anticipated. On top of it all, he was losing things left and right, and he didn't really remember what control felt like anymore, of both his life and his emotions.
This was, officially, the worst summer ever.

Peter had been avoiding this coffee shop for weeks. It had been the one he went to daily right up until the end of the school year, just before summer, but then the barista he'd befriended had asked him out on a date, and he'd really only seen her as just that: a friend. He let her down gently and ran off before anything else could be said, and he hadn't looked back, absolutely terrified of disappointing anybody, and yet it seemed that it was the only thing he knew how to do these days. It was a doomed sort of existence.
Peter Parker officially had no one. Ish. Spider-Man had people, but Peter Parker didn't. His friends were gone, his parents were dead, so was his uncle, his aunt was right on their heels, and he was about to head into senior year already one leg in the grave, and that was an impressive statement for a seventeen-year-old boy. But now he's encountered a country boy who's too sexy for his own good and is glued to Peter's hip, and maybe this won't end badly for once. But everybody has their secrets, and either they get exposed or tear things down. Peter knew that all too well.

Super duper cutesy indeed, great late night read if you just want a little buffer before bed. I love love looooved Peter in this. I see way too many people make him overly timid and while yeah, especially in the MCU, he can be a pretty shy guy, he isn't just a doormat. It can be pretty hard to balance the timidness with the BAMFness, and this fic does it super well even though it's pretty short.

Peter was alone, mid-way through an existential crisis after the Erasure™ and was dreading the upcoming month of May.
Jason was sick of people telling him how he felt. ‘You don’t need us anymore,’ Artemis had told him, as if saying it would make it true. As if Jason needed someone to justify keeping them around. But three weeks back in Gotham and all Jason felt was fucking bored and lonely.
It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.
Finally, something interesting to deal with.
Cue some wild family misunderstandings, criminal conspiracies and cults.
Because there’s always a goddamn cult.

Ohhhh, how I've loved this beauty of a fic. I am thirsting for more spideyhood content after reading this, and i physically cannot wait for more parts to come out. I have absolutely no notes at all. The dynamic between Peter and Jason is just perfect, and the fanart? Chef's kiss. Extra special shout out to the raunchier fanarts, fuelling my thirst for Jason like nothing else.
