He held out his hand without question, not looking away from the flurry of action on the big screen. It wasn’t an enrapturing film by any means, but Jason was looking forward to listening to Tim dissect all the technical successes and failures after it was over.
A soft, wadded up ball was set in the middle of his palm before Tim rustled around, tidying up the space around them. Napkins? No, whatever Tim had handed him was softer than the cheap napkins every chain company bought in bulk. It felt more like fabric.
When the next brightly lit scene in the movie illuminated their surroundings a shred more, he glanced down and saw a familiar pattern of tiny peaches printed on thin, white cotton.
It took a second for Jason to realize he was holding Tim’s panties.

Okay. This was fine. Jason had zero leads on the crime boss he’d gone undercover to find, was a third of the way through a striptease despite not knowing how to dance, and the ex-best friend he’d walked out on six months ago was sitting practically close enough to touch and toasting him with a glass of what had better be club soda. He’d dealt with worse.
He had no idea if Roy had known he was there or if this was just a horrible coincidence, but fine. Roy wanted to watch? Jason would give him a show.
