“I just… I wanted you to look at me. I shouldn’t have said that, I know you– I know you’ve worked too hard for something as little as breaking up with me to slingshot you back. I mean, not that we’re breaking up, because we weren’t together or anything, but… yeah.”
Roy forces out a laugh that sounds more like a scoff, and leans back on his palms to stare at his shitty popcorn ceiling.
“You're a fucking moron. And you’re lucky I didn't put my fist through your skull for saying that.”
“You wouldn't do that .”
“Not to you, no,” he concedes.

Roy needs to break up with Dick. He's an inherently selfish man, but for once he knows that coveting the greatest man alive will only bring the both of them pain, and Dick doesn't deserve that.Dick makes it much harder than it needs to be.
Unfortunately, Roy is nothing if not persistent. Even if, in the end, he wishes he'd just died instead.

Well it’s not like Dabi cared. Hawks was probably in a hero reunion or an interview due to the holiday. Heroes love to bring attention to this lame day. He would just return back to the League and contact him another night.
“Did you hear?” Dabi slides around this circle of people talking. "I heard the number two hero is with someone right now.”
Dabi’s feet halted, his head turning so quickly his sunglasses almost flew off his face.
“They say she’s a beauty.”
She?
“I know, I’m so envious. They said that after the interview they went back to the hotel together.”
It did not matter. Hawks and him were in an open relationship if you were to call that one. He didn’t care that Hawks were fucken another person. Did not care that someone else would hear, touch him. He did not care.

He can’t even say for sure what it is that Roy says, except it’s probably something idiotic like: daddy should bend you over and fuck your brains out— and rather than roll his eyes, or shutting him up with another sloppy kiss, Dick shudders.
‘’That’s what you want, baby?’’ Roy says then, eyes snapping open, like a dog that’s caught a scent. ‘’You’d like daddy to fuck you?’’
And before Dick knows what he’s doing, his body’s moving on without him, mouth opening stupidly, despicably to say:
