“Almost done,” one of Nene’s hands rests gently beneath her chin while the other jams up into her mouth, trying to make the glue stick to the end of her tooth. “Just hold still a little longer.”
“How long?”
“Don’t speak!”
She makes a defeated noise, pouting up at her girlfriend. For this operation, she’s seated on the stool in front of Nene’s vanity. The cushion is comfortable, but her back is starting to hurt.
“I know,” Nene coos, sympathetically. “It won’t be long. We should have done this first, your makeup is getting ruined.”
